Are you looking for the CURRENT VERSION of the Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler?

Earlier this morning at work, I was nauseated to have to listen [not by choice] to an NBC Commentator attack the administration, the McCain Campaign and real Americans for using 9/11 as a “Cheap” political stunt to terrorize the electorate into supporting the GOP ticket. The bastard using the same old worn-out narrative, blaming Bush and even Rudy for the 9/11 disaster, and now saying we are using this tactic to win the election. The lying prick even insisted that it was pressure from the administration that the footage and photos from that terrible day were generally taken off the “news cycle” only to be brought back out now, for votes.

I swear, if I would have been physically present during that commentary he would have finished (or not) minus his teeth and in need of an oral surgeon to set his jawbone fractures.

This pusillanimous prick insisted that America isn’t interested in the War on Terror, that the average American is worried about the economy, fuel prices and health care. The GOP use of images and stories of 9/11 was tantamount i.e. morally equivalent to terrorism and a distraction from the real problems America faces.

His commentary was simply a broadcast fellation of the surrender monkeys of the left in general and specifically the Obamination.

Well Mr. “I hate America” commentator, here’s a news tip from a real American. One living on the edge at the moment and suffering from fuel prices and concerned about the economy as well, I’m not worried about the economy or health care, both of which I’m suffering under like millions of others. I DO care about the War on Terror of which Iraq is just one campaign, and expect others to follow for as long it takes to eradicate the malignancy of Islamic Fundamentalism’s brutality and murderous ambitions. Yes, I care about the other stuff, but I have faith in capitalism and free markets to solve the economy and believe that we’re close to waking up on a realistic energy policy. Whereas, the Muslim threat is immediate and implacable by nothing short of unrestricted violence and total annihilation.

I remember that day in 2001, like it was yesterday and I think I can safely speak for others as well as myself, that the resolve to bring justice to those that perpetrated that crime and their brothers, brutally and with an ultimate finality has not diminished one iota.

See what you out there on the left will NEVER understand about us on this side of the aisle is that we are capable of prioritizing the critical, important, and “nice to have” from the single issue that you so love to use in your 2 page playbook of ideology. We have minds that can rationalize an immediate threat from a mild nuisance.

So today we’ll remember that terrible day, perhaps shed a tear and once again resolve and swear before Almighty G-d that America will always stand for justice in a dangerous world.

We true Americans will always know the direction peril lies in and will not be distracted by the politics of victimhood, class-warfare and socialist ideology that places true patriotism in a trash bin.

We’re humans and appalled by the images from that day, but that cannot and will not cow us into surrendering the greatest experiment in self-governance the world has ever seen. We’ve stood strong, proud and victorious against all foes and from the view out here, the foes are domestic and foreign and on the march.

We WILL prevail at all costs, we owe it to ourselves, our forebears and our progeny. No political party can save us nor destroy us, because America the Beautiful lies deep within WE THE PEOPLE.

I just finished posting my feeling at my site on this 7th anniversary of the attack on our home. Work has been a bitch for the last four days and I’m planning on sleeping for the next day and a half, but I couldn’t let the day go by without trying to put my feelings down.

This pusillanimous prick insisted that America isn’t interested in the War on Terror, that the average American is worried about the economy, fuel prices and health care. If we aren’t taking the WoT seriously, the other things become moot. We have the money and power to deal with them all simultaneously, but if we aren’t “interested” in putting the WoT at the top of the list, then we might as well just bow down to pisslam now. We can work those other things out, just maybe not this year.

I will post these two videos that should be viewed every now and then to bring back the emotions we felt during that day :

The next day we sent some of those Hornets with the USS George Washington (CVN-73) to New York Harbor.

To paraphrase Winston Churchill; “We shall fight them on the beaches. We shall fight them in the towns. We shall fight them from our homes. We will never, NEVER surrender.”

And to use General George S Patton’s gentle way of speaking, “By God, I ALMOST feel sorry for those poor bastards we’re going up against. By God I do. We’re not just going to shoot the bastards. We’re going to CUT OUT THEIR LIVING GUTS, and USE THEM to GREASE THE TREADS OF OUR TANKS! We’re gonna annihilate those lousy murdering Hun bastards, by the bushel! We’re not holding onto our positions. We don’t hold onto anything. Let the Hun do that! We are advancing constantly, and we are NOT HOLDING onto anything, EXCEPT THE ENEMY! We’re gonna hold onto him by the nose, and WE’RE GONNA KICK HIM IN THE ASS! We’re gonna kick the hell out of him all the them! And we’re gonna go through him, like crap through a goose!……Also, don’t worry about what the press says about us. We didn’t find out what though until around 10:30. It was a major shock for all of us. After we found out, we spent the rest of the day watching the news coverage of it. There really isnt a word that exists that accuratley captures the level of rage I feel regarding the (what I grew up calling the twin towers) attack, to begin with. I have to be very careful with that “side” of me because I become extremely intolerant and indiscriminate. That this “commentor” was even given a forum on this day of all days is a complete and utter slap in the face of ALL DECENCY. And right now.. I want to kill this individual not for his perspective but for his fucking lack of honor, when it comes to the innocents that perished. And I hold those that gave this “commentator” a voice as responsible as the voice itself. Its shit like this that make me wish for reset 2.0, this isnt the voice of productive dissent, this is the voice of treason. Damn me to hell.. cause if I “hate” anything its the voice of the “extreme” left. They are willing to say and do ANYTHING as long as its negative against the United States.

I just finished putting our flag out. This household will not be like the Liberal ones. We WILL remember, and we WILL honor those that died that day….and since, fighting those bastards.

I still remember M waking me up early that morning holding the phone out to me. It was my mother calling to tell us what was happening. He ran to turn on the tv as I struggled to wake up and understand what mom was telling me. I was sitting in front of the television as they reported about the first plane hitting…and that at least two more planes were not responding to ATC. They were showing the first tower in flames when I saw something cross the corner of the screen. I first thought it was a bird……then it got bigger.

Never in my life have I experienced that total sheer terror and helplessness as I realized it was another plane. I saw it coming, and there wasn’t a damn thing I could do to stop it. My heart literally stopped. I had to put my hands over my mouth to keep from screaming. I never thought I would ever be witness to thousands of our own citizens dying in one instant. Thank the L-rd for those who ran into those buildings to make sure everyone else ran out.

There are those of us who realize who the enemy is, and that they are evil incarnate and must be defeated. The Left believes that those who sacrifice themselves to save others are the evil ones. They are the faction that upholds defeatism, surrender, failure, and enslavement. They want negotiations with no conditions. They want appeasement. They want our demise. Amazing how blind they can be to believe that our own Country is the enemy. They believe our Military are the cold, heartless, radical killers. They believe that no war will mean peace. The peace of chains, servitude and enslavement is NOT peace. It’s subjugation.

As the Great Winston Churchill said: “An appeaser is one who feeds a crocodile—hoping it will eat him last.

If ye love wealth greater than liberty, the tranquility of servitude greater than the animating contest for freedom, go home from us in peace. We seek not your counsel, nor your arms. Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

The media was showing not outrage, but whiners becrying why we were attacked. Made me sick to think how people reacted when Pearl Harbor was attacked and we had turned into this in 60 short years. May all true Americans and Patriots rest assured the disgust and hatred they feel for the enemy is justified. The want of understanding of the enemy is the abomination.

Dj, I understand your view on turning this incident into a talking point. Our society has a knack for turning great things into something trite. My children will never understand the significance, having been born after the attack. The History Channel pummels us with Hitler and the Secret History of the KKK until I begin to think they are actively promoting those guys and their beliefs. You see it if not every week, at least every 3 weeks. There’s a fine line between remembrance and turning an incident into a product. I choose to remember. No bumper stickers, no T-shirts, coffee mugs or “commerative coins” from Liberia. On the other hand it is history, and needs to be shown and discussed to show those like my kids the world we live in and how we got this way.

  32. Rainy Comment by Rainy UNITED STATES

Never forget. Never forgive. Never surrender.

I’ll never forget. I was just getting out of the shower and my husband and eldest son were watching the news to see the condition of Ed McCaffery who had broken his leg in the Monday night game. My husband yelled that a plane had hit the World Trade Center. We all thought at first that it was a small plane, similar to other incidents over the years. But while we were watching, the second plane hit. I turned to my family and said “My God! They’re doing it on purpose!”. My son and I turned to each other and said “Debt of Honor!”. We had both read Tom Clancy’s novel and early in the book a Japanese commercial pilot flies a 747 into the Capitol.

We all continued to watch as we went through our morning routines. I dropped the kids at school, then watched as the towers collapsed. I sank to the floor in horror.

I did go into work that day, only to send everyone home. I spent the day trying to get in touch with former co-workers. I had left that company the previous year and our headquarters were in WT2. One of the Denver managers called me later that day and said that everyone was safe. They either weren’t at work yet or remembered the 1993 bombing and got out of the building. My former boss was coming up from the subway beneath the building when they were evacuating it. He saw the people falling and it tramatized him forever.

I had nightmares for weeks, imaging I was there and what I would have been doing. I knew the buildings well from drinks in Windows on the World to meetings, to lunches in the building across the street, and staying in the Marriott. We always had our budget meetings in the beginning of Sept. At that time, I would have been getting coffee in one of the shops in the underground mall, then walking over to the elevators. I think that even if I had already been in the office, we would have evacuated. The previous year, there were many bomb scares when we were there so we were all cautious of safety. And several people we worked with were there in 1993.

I now work in the tallest building in Denver. We have emergency drills where everyone - thousands of people - has to evacuate the building and move far enough away to escape the shadow of the building. A legacy of 9/11.

This is our generation’s Pearl Harbor. Thank God for the men and women who work every day to protect us.

    God Bless America.

    Deej

the terrible attacks of September 11. 2001 have been almost commercialized, and

used over and over again as an excuse for some action or policy

Being it was decided that we couldn’t handle seeing what actually happened (for our own good), yes it has become almost commercialized.

We were “spared” the videos of our citizens jumping from the towers to escape the fire so as not to upset us. We were spared the films of the dead and mangled dug out of the wreckage. We have no first hand experience of the destruction and death caused by this.

Watching the buildings fall, we go “OMG, how horrible…the people inside.”, but we haven’t seen the carnage that war creates so most of the population doesn’t understand what happened and what will be done in retribution.

Throughout most the old farts lives here, we lived with the IRA blowing shit up in Ireland. On the news, I’d see the Bobbies blocking off a street and some asshat journalist commenting on the destruction of another pub blowing up, but it didn’t affect me and I could only make up in my head what happened. I know that my imagined pictures of what happened weren’t anything close to reality. For a long, long time I couldn’t figure out who was right or wrong, because the deaths of the innocent were just numbers…4 people killed at a blast at Clancey’s…5 dead, 15 wounded at O’Malley’s…numbers.

“They took all the footage off my TV
Said it’s all disturbing, for you and me
It’ll just breed anger is what the experts say.
If it were up to me, I’d show it every day.”

We are at war! And with our overly comfortable lives here in the U.S., we need to be reminded of that fact constantly.

We bitch about the cost of health care, the price of gas, etc.. Our poorest, living on the street have it better than most in the rest of the world. If you want to be so egalitarian then you should be worrying about the poor in other countries getting a bandage for a cut before worrying about “health care for all (people within the U.S. borders)”.

We, meaning the average putz like me, do not even begin to grasp going through a terrorist attack is like. It most likely is never going to occur, to me, in my lifetime and I’d like to keep it that way.

“Somebody should have addressed their grievances before that happened.”

Yeah! Their asshole buddies should have talked to them.

    We(the U.S.) have never,
    ever
tried to work this out. :em98:

Killing innocents brings retribution. The Beirut Bombing in ‘83 and the Cole bombing in 2000 were against military targets, however, 9/11 (and, lest we forget, the WTC bombing in ‘93) were against no one except civilians.

If we showed it every day, then it’s propaganda. When it is a major factor in deciding who will be CIC, it should be brought up, because Nobama’s policy says just talk to them and they’ll understand and correct their ways. Iran knew Carter couldn’t and wouldn’t do anything, and they were right. He had decimated our military’s readiness to where we couldn’t get our shit together for the one and only major military operation that needed to be done, but when Reagen was going to take over, and they knew the might of the U.S. would be thrown against them, the Iranis folded…and bastards that we are we still let them off.

used over and over again as an excuse for some action or policy

I quote this again because it is not an excuse, it is a reminder to the people of why we started this in the first place.

I just turned off that asshole Sean Hannity as he was doing the same thing that Deej was alluding to…..using the attacks to score cheap political points, just like most of the media today….so shame to them all. I don’t listen to him much anyway, as he often resorts to third rate insults to diminish obama and biden, rather than hit them on the issues….but I kind of expected a little more of him and the rest of the media today.

So what happened on this 7th 9/11…….

Well, I’m now positive that I made the right career move in accepting a teaching position at a high school skills center. It’s what used to be called a trade school, and when I arrived this morning I was told that there would be a short presentation commemorating 9/11. I expected some sort of PC flavored thing having seen these kinds of things done in public schools, but when I saw two recent grads decked out in full Army uniforms I knew that would not be the case. The principal talked about the people who died, and didn’t mince words when she said that muslim radicals were responsible. Then the two soldiers came on and told why they were fighting the war on radical islam. The closing slide said “May God have mercy on them, as we will have none”………….Jeeeezus, try getting away with that in a public school. I found the two soldiers and thanked them, also did the same to the principal and told her that I was proud to be working for her.

Have you ever heard this line:

“11 of the hijackers were from Saudi Arabia, so we should’ve attacked Saudi Arabia rather than Iraq”

Lord knows that I’ve heard it more often than I want. But here’s an inconvenient truth that might be troubling to the peace assholes and leftist bastards that vomit that line. None….NONE of those hollow eyed, savage, goat raping sons of whores EVER claimed loyalty to Saudi Arabia or any of the other chamberpots they call countries. They claim no nationality….you never hear them cawing “Yemen Akhbar” or “chechnya Akhbar”, no it’s “allah akhbar”. Their sole allegiance is to their false, perverted, demon of a God and to nothing else, not even their family or children. They are the absolute definition of what a leftist would call “citizens of the world”. Remind them of that the next time they tell you that they don’t recognize borders and nation states and they are a “planetary citizen”……..tell them that they have that in common with the radical muslims, and wish them good luck co-existing in the planetary caliphate.

September 11th is also my sons Birthday, he was 15 when the attacks occurred and he was 17 when he finally decided that he would like to start celebrating his birthday again. That’s a very minor inconvenience given that so many on that day had to make the decision on whether they wanted to die burning to ash or be splattered on a sidewalk after a 90 story fall…..my God, just the thought of having to decide that numbs me, and it’s a choice that NO ONE should have to make. It’s a choice that was forced on them by 19 soul-less, murderous, primitive creatures not deserving of co-existence with us on this planet. Those 3,000 Americans that died on that Tuesday morning would never get the chance to live out their lives, or kiss their wives or husbands or lovers or children or parents again, or play ball with their dog again, or even have another birthday party….No, those simple, common, everyday events would never happen to them again, and I wonder if they thought of those things as they rode those planes to their deaths, or burned in their offices, or watched the sidewalks of Manhattan come speeding up to meet them and turn their very being to red mist.

Our debt to them is to remember that day of their unnecessary deaths, as there was no purpose or justification to any of it….Our debt to them is to unite as a civilized, truly good force in the world and purge this cancer of radical islam and it’s practitioners from our planet once and for all…..if only to do it for the dead of 9/11…..

I think I’ll call my son and wish him a happy birthday……

May God bless our military, first responders, President, and our fellow citizens….and may he never let us forget what this day is about or why we’re fighting the true infidels and soldiers of darkness.

    From SoCal:

He had decimated our military’s readiness to where we couldn’t get our shit together for the one and only major military operation that needed to be done

I agree with your points about Carter and the military he tried to destroy, right up until here. It wasn’t a matter of the military “not getting it’s shit together”, it was the politicians and the talking heads at the Pentagon that insisted it be a joint operation instead of training a special team of operators with a single mission focus. Find a copy of “The Guts to Try” by Col James Kyle. It’s an objective look at the operation from one of the senior planners who was also on the ground at Desert One. Even covers what the good Colonel thought were his failures in the planning and execution. You’ll find that Carter and his “advisers” waffled and whined before giving the mission the OK, and interfered with almost every decision the military made. IF anything good came from that fiasco, it was the emphasis on Special Operations in all branches that makes a lot of the things we’re doing in the WoT possible.

And, if you do find it, check out the pictures. There’s one in there of a MH-53 being loaded into a C-5 Galaxy. The guy walking the wheels is me…

I was working in a call center in Bakersfield at 6 a.m. that day and about forty five minutes into the shift the incoming lines just went silent. All 60 of us sat there trying to figure out what was going on. No personal calls were allowed. Then about twenty minutes later random callers began calling, describing the carnage, which no one could believe was happening, until someone went out on break and listened to their car radio.

They let us go home early, which was good, because I immediately had the urge to go get my kids out of school, return to the house and lock all the doors. The tv coverage upset me so bad I needed prescription medicine to sleep for six months.

I will personally never forget what happened, and I don’t feel bad at all about the war in Iraq and the deaths of their civilians. Tough shit. Pick a fight with somebody significantly bigger than you and suffer the consequences. When your friends drag you into a dive bar and you end up in the brawl with your teeth knocked out, don’t come crying to me. You probably shouldn’t have hung around them in the first place. And yeah, it IS a matter of guilt by association.

And Deej, in the end, violence usually does solve everything. Sometimes in the real world, as opposed to the world of ideas and theory, you are compelled to fight. Physically fight. When walking away is just criminal, or just not possible, or even when you really don’t want to. Because if you don’t fight when you have to, there’s plenty of people in this real world ready to kick your ass and take everything you have, maybe even your life, or the life of your family.

I was channel surfing late at night (here in Oz) when I saw a movie channel… then thought WTF that’s the news. By the time I saw it, it was obviously terrorism as the second plane had just hit.

I was still watching later when, as the talking heads were talking, there was a huge plume of dust in the background picture as the first tower went down.

I have a generally stoic personality, nothing much affects me (Aussie male syndrome), but I still can’t talk about that day without tears and I have major problem stopping myself from bitchslapping anybody stupid enough to say it was a US/Jew/Reblican/whatever conspiracy - f***ing idiots :em12:

I was at home, getting ready to go to work at Wendy’s. I had either walked from the bathroom to my bedroom or vice versa, and I heard my mom and sister shout at the TV. I stopped at the top of the stairs (we have a TV in the kitchen, and was at an angle that it could be viewed from there), and saw smoke coming out of one of the towers, and another plane hitting the second one, and a huge ball of flame coming from that. I just stood frozen at the top of the stairs in disbelief. That day, instead of listening to a radio station with music, we listened to WGN radio to our daily destinations (work for me and my mom, and school for my sister), and on the way home as well. I remember being sad and angry as hell. I still am angry about this. It was my main motivation for joining the Army, and I wish I could have sooner. :em96:

I’ve been thinking of getting a tattoo on my arm that says “9-11-01 Never Forgive, Never Forget”, but I know that would be defacing my body, so I’m not sure if I’m going to. I don’t have the money for it anyway.

    What jaybear said.

I was on my way to work when I heard the news about the first plane. I thought maybe it was just a small private plane, and when I heard it was an airliner, I thought maybe the pilot had had a heart attack or something. Then shortly after I got to work, the second plane hit, and I thought, “We’re at war.” I remember how helpless and angry I felt. The company I worked at was just 1 block north of Ohare, and the silence when they grounded all flights was eery.

I bet the military would be surprised at the turn out they would get if they developed a recruiting process that allowed any age for four years to those that would bring an already developed skill sets specifically needed to support the actual war fighting theatres. No Pension. One flat pay grade. They would get trained, logistics, heavy equip operators, truck drivers, IT personnel, etc etc coming out of the freaking wood work. Bet on a cost breakdown (even considering the disability pay concerns) they could probably do it cheaper than using contractors like they are now and the ones they did recruit would be motivated SOB’s

If it was up to me, I’d broadcast footage of the attacks and of the foul beasts in human form that celebrated the cowardly attack in order to remind people of the savagery that we fight against. We are fighting not for the US and its future, but for the future of modern civilization, and for the sanctity of mankind.

When the first building went down, I damn near went into shock…. when the second one went down, I went back in the office… my buddy said over his shoulder “How bad is it”? I was so choked up with rage and sorrow that I had a hard time speaking (highly unusual for my big mouth)I could only choke out a whisper and said “Its bad…its real fucking bad”. Many times, listening to the agitprop about “Recruitment Levels Are Down Because Bush’s War Is Unpopular”, I have thought to myself:

“That’s only because they won’t let the ‘Old Guys’ - who know what this is really about - back in.”

    Here’s something:

Imagine what the turnout would be like if things started going south and Gen. Petreus held a press conference, saying:

In light of declining enlistment & re-enlistment among our younger military personnel during this fight for our national and cultural survival, all branches of the U.S. military have been authorized, on an emergency basis, to extend the allowable age of enlistment to 60 years-of-age.

Understand that, as a guideline, most of the new-enlistment assignments for those over the age of 40 will be in support/logistical positions, with front-line combat assignments allowed only upon careful evaluation of an enlistees’ physical capacity for such.

Extended-age enlistees with prior military service will be evaluted and their on-boarding given priority to update their existing skillsets and experience.

I realize that it’s been a long time since this sentiment was spoken in an official capacity over public airwaves, but:

In this dark hour, America needs you - Don’t let her down.

Don’t know about you guys, but I think the biggest problem would be fistfights breaking out as umpty-leventy-bazzillion old guys tried to push to the front of the line…

In regards to artillery.. no need to take any with you…. the local souk (or bazaar) as we used to call them all have plenty of toys to chose from…You just need a bankroller ala Ross Perot. Would also need permission from the MOI.. but again .. money talks …

The reality is that the “contractors” already have mush of it sewn up tight. With the exeption of those that operate Black.. the only field ops that could be remotely considered offensive would be border control , and drug and drug crop interdiction.. and the level of betrayal and double operatives is pretty high. If your interested in that world check out Blackwater, SOC-SMG, Triple Canopy, Armour Group and ITT. They are the big boys in the industry here in the states. The Brits also have a couple of companies that are high end.And then there are those that dont advertise…

On the 11th I visited my cousin Mark (FDNY) and treated him to dinner at Arthur’s Landing in Weehauken, NJ.

We got a corner table right by the water. The twin light columns at Ground Zero were quite visible from across the Hudson.

Mark wore his “steppin’ out” FD clothes. The manager came by to shake his hand, and told us he had lost a friend on 9/11/2001 when the WTC fell. He offered to buy our dinners, but I declined. He settled for covering the drinks.

Later on we stood at the water at watched the lights, the city and the boats going by.

“I’m gonna pray for the FD guys,” he said, “past and present. You wanna join me?”

This is a running joke between us. He knows where I stand on matters metaphysical.

“Can we pray that for vengeance on the jihadists, past and present? I’ll chime in for that,” I replied.

    “Deal.”

    We bowed our heads.

    Never forget. Never forgive.

    Vengeance.
