New Joisey Now a Battleground State?
Posted by: Emperor Misha I in Politics, The Obamessiah11:12 AM
Really now? Deeply blue New flippin’ Joisey???
Yes, we can read, and we tend to believe our own lying eyes over most anything else, but this has us scratching our head and wondering if we’re hallucinating or somebody is lying through their teeth:
The contest between Barack Obama and John McCain in New Jersey is too close to call, with a new Quinnipiac University poll showing the battle for the state’s fifteen electoral votes at 48%-45% among likely voters. Obama led McCain by ten percentage points, 51%-41% in an August Quinnipiac poll.
We mean, really. We’re not normally conspiratorially minded except when we’re really, really bored/drunk or a combination of the above, but we’re having a really hard time believing this. Are the Democrats Communists now in such a desperate situation that they and their allies are trying to paint the situation worse than it is in order to suppress the Republican vote in November (hey, Obambi’s toast anyway, I might as well take the day off and not go vote)?
Occam’s razor tells His Majesty that such speculation is so far off the rails that he needs to take a rest, but consider the implications if it is true.
Trying to eke out a win in traditional battleground states such as Florida and Ohio has proven a tough row to hoe for the Nutroot Party in the past, so tough that they’ve failed twice in a row already. Nevertheless, they must at least stand a fighting chance in states like that if they’re to have a shimmer of hope of winning the overall election, which takes a LOT of resources. If the Obaminable Blowman now has to fight it out in states like New Jersey as well…
Oh we want to pop that champagne so badly we can’t stand it, but for once we really can’t believe our own eyes. Add to that a report that we read yesterday that New York is a five-point race now.
But hey, we’re sure that the Crack Obambi Campaign Team have already thought up a series of brilliant counterstrikes that will surely give their 6th Army back the initiative and allow them to break out of Stalingrad. Rumor has it that their research teams have uncovered that Governor Palin once told her teacher, back in 5th grade, that her Husky ate her homework and, as if that wasn’t enough, that McCain’s war injuries render him unable to throw hoops which, as we all know, is exactly what we can’t afford in a Commander in Chief. We mean, how uncool can you be?

Difficult to believe, ja?
Jersey (outside of the kaffir townships in Newark, Camden and elsewhere) is like PA…old blue-collar Dems. This is especially true in the north of the state. I doubt they’ll go for Obama, in the end. Keep in mind that this was a university poll, loaded with bias and wishful thinking.
“McCain’s war injuries render him unable to throw hoops”
Maybe, but throwing an M-67 is much more useful when dealing with international scumbags, no? Hobama would probably throw the pin.

Don’t break out the schnapps just yet, folks -
Jersey is soo damned deep in political corruption you could put Mother Theresa and Abraham Lincoln on a ticket, and those assholes would vote for bruce the one-eyed rodent and a sock puppet.
This is the state where the Democrat Senator was indicted AFTER the primary, so, against the law (but who cares about the law when you own the supine court - I spelled that correctly) they put on a geriatric gasbag that gives Biden a run for his bloviating skills and is as smart as a wet rock. AND THE ASSHOLES IN JOISEY VOTED HIM IN!!!
I am SOO glad I moved out of there.

My Liege and fellow LC’s:
I seek forebearance for a small history lesson. My nic is the name of the equivalent of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff for Genghis Khan. Arguably, he was the most brilliant general of ancient times [albeit almost unknown in the West]. After the destruction of the Muslim empire of Khwarism; he was sent with 80,000-100,000 troops to the west to see what was there, and reduce it to submission to the Khan. After carving out what is now the Ukraine as the realm of Genghis’ first son Juchi, later known as the “Khanate of the Golden Horde” he moved northwest.
The Europeans, were only able to organize a slight resistance due to being internally divided. Poland itself was divided into 4 kingdoms, the most powerful being Silesia. In April of 1241 Henry II of Silesia marched out of Liegnitz [Legnica] with a mixed force consisting mostly of the Order of Teutonic Knights, some Polish knights, the odd French Templar, and an untrained mass of foot soldiers including drafted civilians. He actually had the numerical advantage, since his total force was about 30,000. Opposing him was a detachment of 20,000 from Subotai’s force, commanded by Kaidu Khan, Genghis’ great-grandson.
I will leave aside the mistake in the Operational Art, wherein Henry crossed a river fordable by only one bridge and thus fought with a river at his back. The fact that a detachment of 1,000 or so Mongols executed a flanking march and sat on the bridgehead after Henry’s army had passed just made the slaughter more complete.
After a couple of inconclusive skirmishes, it appeared that the Mongol line had broken and was retreating. The Europeans, who had no concept of discipline in combat, charged in no set order and strung themselves out in a long line. The infantry and knights were way beyond the distance whereby they could support each other.
Sadly for the Europeans, feigned retreat was a standard Mongol tactic. The Mongol army turned on command, and it was proved that long range missile fire [arrows from composite bows] could easily defeat armored knights. The battle became a rout, and the survivors fled for the river and the bridge. Given the presence of the Mongol flanking force, the bridge toll was the same as the one to ride Charon’s ferry.
Thus ended the Teutonic Order of Knights. The only thing that saved Poland was the fact, incomprehensible to Europeans, that Kaidu’s forces were merely a diversionary probe covering the main attack in Hungary.
The battle [and the war if Kaidu had so desired] was lost along with hope of survival, because the Europeans made the assumption that the enemy was beaten. They lost discipline, broke ranks, and wasted their efforts. And they paid for it.
The forces of B. Hussein Obama and his Moonbat minions may indeed be defeated. That defeat may be self-inflicted. But now is not the time to rejoice. They are still a dangerous enemy, and they still may regroup and strike back. Now is the time for us to buckle down, redouble our efforts to make Sarah Palin our Vice President, and keep doing what is working until we have to choose to change our tactics in response to actual conditions on the field. While we will not be able to define victory in the same way as the Great Khan, we will be quite able to celebrate after November 4. Mind you, there will probably have to be a strong overwatch force covering the celebrations, as the Moonbats will probably be busy burning cities; but we will deal with that as needed.

Ahh if it was so easy. You all forget that Osama has 7-8 states in his pocket. States no mere Conservative or Republican can touch. Mainly because we don’t know what or where they are, but that’s besides the point. When all 57 or 58 states vote, it’ll be a landslide in Osama’s favour.

My co-worker from New Jersey is a Hillary guy and absolutely HATES Obama. He was for McCain the instant Hillary was out of the running. Blue-collar to the bone, uncles were fire and police officers, worked his way through college, broken home, etc. If a lot of other people in Jersey are like my friend, I can easily believe the switch.

From Real Clear Politics:
2008 Democratic Popular Vote
New Jersey 02/05 Obama: 501,372 43.9% Clinton: 613,500 53.8% Clinton +112,128 +9.9%
So…613,500 Votes for Hillary
August CNN Poll : 27% of Clinton Supporters for McCain.
Therefore approximately : 165,645 New Jersey ex Clinton voters. (Of just those who voted in the primaries.)
This is, mind you, pre Palin-Bounce figures.
The PUMA’S sites say it’s even higher now, some are citing 35-40%.
Still, ever vigilant. Ever on the offensive. Good advice Subotai Bahadur.

Subotai Bahadur is very much correct. This is not a war that should even be considered winnable until we have WON. There is no room for complacency, and there is no room for mercy. WE ARE IN A ALL OUT FIGHT FOR OUR COUNTRY. The stakes are far to great. I want to destroy them, I want to destroy thier ability to field another attack in any form. This war has at least three distinct battle phases.
1 WIN THE ELECTION
2 WIN THE INSURECTION that will follow.
3 WIN THE COURT BATTLE THAT WILL FOLLOW.
4 Attempt to rebuild our Nation on a political level.
If you think the tactics the socialists are using now border on the insane… just wait .. it will get worse.
I am normally a glass is half full kinda guy (although I prepare for the worst) I always try to look for the positive (DOG SHIT ON THE FLOOR…. Well at least he didnt shit on my pillow..) But I think the potential for some really crazy shit is very possible, and I worry most about our foreign enemies taking advantage of our internal strife.
I only know how to WAR one way… and it is not limited.. nor is “low intensity”.
WE MUST DEFEAT THIS EVIL AMONGST US NOW… and that is exactly how I look at it nowadays.. they are EVIL. And all hyperbole aside… I will give them no quarter.

Chris the answer is obvious - make up a shitload that read “and Palin’s First” and slap it on right next to it on their Suburu/Prius bumper. These dimbulbs probaby won’t even notice until other Suburus rear end them violently; their tires get slashed, their offspring run out of their basements and move into the treetops, and their trust funds get shut off.
Additionaly satisfying is that their injuries will come FROM THEIR OWN ABYSMAL SIDE! :em01: :em99:

Troy sez:
After watching the total derangement going on with the leftists I have to wonder this:
Where in the hell did they all come from, and what in the bloody hell happened to them???? :em41:
The baseness of their rhetoric, the crudeness of their actions, their complete disavowal of any honesty or integrity or common decency just leaves me aghast sometimes. Sometimes I can’t help but pity them, for the shallow self-centered certainly hollow existence that they have created for themselves. To live a life that is devoid of accountability to or gratitude towards a higher power for the wonders of this planet is certain to make one bitter. You can’t see the forest for the trees, it’s said….but how can you see the greater purpose of mankind when you can’t see past yourself? Yes, I have pity towards them, but I also have a burning desire to see them pay for the damage they’ve caused this nation and it’s decent people. I don’t want them dead, slapped around maybe, but not dead….I want them to make amends…..reparations if you will……for the damage they’ve inflicted to the institutions of this Christian nation through their recklessness and misguided anarchy and general hatred of anything American. If they don’t have the means to pay reparations, then ship ‘em out…..empty handed and unfinanced to the marxist/socialist/leftist/ungodly shithole nation of their choice….ONE WAY…..and that goes quadruple for the wealthy marxists who have grown rich with American Dollars while doing everything to bring their bankrolling country down…..people like the obamas, and kennedys, and murthas, and pelosis, and rage against the machine, and streisand, and clooney………………ship them all out, let’s see how they do.
My money says that they don’t last a month…….

T is right. NJ politics make NY’s look clean. I mean look at their former governor, who employed his boyfriend as a security consultant and resigned saying “I am a proud gay American.” Personally, I couldn’t give a shit whether a governor is gay or not, but the whole thing was so sordid, and he was SUCH an idiot, and he and his wife fought a bitter battle for custody, and then his wife wrote a book….SLEAZY. You just wanted to take a shower after the news.
But I have even bigger news than NJ - we here in the Empire State make fun of NJ because we’re bigger too.
Check this out:
MAC MAKES MOVE ON DEM ‘EMPIRE’
CUTS BAM’S BIG NY LEAD TO 5 PTS.
ALBANY - Surging Republican John McCain has moved to within 5 percentage points of Democrat Barack Obama in the true-blue Empire State, a stunning new Siena poll has found.
The Arizona senator trails Obama 46 percent to 41 percent, slashing his deficit from June, when he trailed 51-33. Last month, McCain lagged 47-39.
The close race is particularly dramatic for New York.
Democrats outnumber Republicans five to three in the state, and Democrat John Kerry beat Republican President Bush here by an 18-point margin in 2004.
“These numbers indicate that at the moment, seven weeks out, New York is in play,” Siena Research Institute spokesman Steven Greenberg said. “If New York’s in play in a presidential election, that is never good news for the Democrats.”
The result follows both parties’ conventions and a jam-packed month of campaigning during which McCain selected Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin as his running mate and Obama passed over primary rival Hillary Rodham Clinton in favor of Delaware Sen. Joe Biden.
McCain gained significantly among women and Jews in the poll of 626 likely voters.
He made up all but 2 percentage points (45-43) of his 12-point gap among women last month (48-36), suggesting previously undecided women are breaking for McCain.
Obama has had a reversal of fortunes among Jewish voters. His support has plummeted 35 points, from a lead of 50-37 to a 54-32 deficit in the new poll.
“The momentum is heading our way,” said McCain’s New York campaign chairman, Edward Cox. “We’re within striking distance.”
It’s unclear how much of McCain’s newfound female support has come from former Clinton supporters.
The poll found most white women (55-36) support McCain, as do one in five of those who have a favorable view of Clinton.
A spokesman for New York for Obama cited its success recruiting 400 volunteers to campaign in nearby swing states, like Pennsylvania, as proof of Obama’s grass-roots strength in New York.
“New York is a strong blue state that has rejected the disastrous policies of George Bush and John McCain for seven years and will do it again in November,” Obama spokesman Blake Zeff said in a statement.
Meanwhile, a poll released yesterday in Ohio found McCain leading, Obama, 46-42, there.

This makes simple pocketbook sense to me.
New Jersey has already seen the future of an Obama presidency with their own sequence of Whitman (oh the EPA is for me) to McGreevey (the newly gay gov) to Corzine (exCEO of Goldman Sachs, so he knows EVERYTHING-better-than-you. Plus his busted leg can tell when it will rain.).
Run Away Fast taxes that still can’t stabilize spending (and those, bless them, those walk on water government pensions) , bleeding heart (no capital punishment — so those M13 ghouls will be around a good long time) laws, and a complete lack of moral center (Corzine pardoned every deserving murderer on death row). Plus forget about carrying a gun to defend yourself; those are just for crooks.
Corzine can’t bus “in Philadelphia homeless shelter and halfway house residents to boost turnout” (wiki) this time, because Pennsylvania will need them to boost Obama there. (Unless Corzine pays them do double duty: am in PA, pm in NJ….)
Maybe the coolest thing about New Jersey is that their exiles are making Pennsylvania a red state.

Revoked citizenship, destruction of their passports, and seizure of their property. Then give their assets to the Military for the upkeep and renovation of their VA hospitals, college programs, etc.
We can nationalize most of Hollywood that way. A “final solution” that actually benefits the country, without the nasty stigma Hitler gave to the phrase so long ago.
