Are you looking for the CURRENT VERSION of the Anti-Idiotarian Rottweiler?

They sure do have an interesting interpretation of the words “freedom of speech”, don’t they? We mean, they’re all in favor of it when you limit yourself to agreeing with them, but if, for instance, a blogger puts up a post about the Obaminable Blowman’s anti-gun aspirations, they take his site down.

Funny that those subretarded digital brownshirts call themselves “Truth Squads” when the one thing they can’t stand is the actual truth.

George Soros and his fellow Neo-Communists need to be put out of business the same way they try, and sometimes succeed, putting their enemies out of business, by hitting them where it hurts— in their bank accounts.

This is absolutely the last most extreme example of a party in power will do to assure I can’t speak truth to power. This is as infringement of my right to freedom of speech. You have been told for more than 8 years that this was going to happen, but you couldn’t see it. Your opinion now cannot be shouted out to the people without “their” government mandate that it conforms to their “truth”.

Listen…listen to the silence as the government stomps on your right to say that the people have no voice. We will no longer be heard. We must rise up…up in numbers so great that they can not ignore us! You, the common person must band with your brothers and sisters and say “No more”, we will allow this to happen no longer.

    +++++++++++++++++++++++

That started out as something I was just playing with to show how we could use their own language against them. A little more that halfway through, it wasn’t so amusing any more. I could have done a Castro speech, but Misha would have banned me for life using 4 hours of his HD.

At that half way point, I realized that I could promise anything without promising anything.

The Dems told us that if they had the power, they would correct all the wrongs. When they didn’t do anything, they said it was because of Republican policies, but didn’t say or do anything that would correct the problem, let alone acknowledge the problem had been building for decades.

I swear, if pelousi or reed (sic) where in front of me…I might consider shooting them. Ain’t going to happen because of Kalifornia law my firearms are always unassembled, with a trigger lock, locked in a safe off my property.

The primary reason the left so easily silences the right is, that’s what they do. That’s all they do. The rest of us have jobs and households to maintain. If our side forms an organization to oppose them, lawsuits are filed and that organization is hauled into their court and sued out of existance. Try holding a meeting and it gets invaded and shut down by their street thugs. Republican candidates can’t attend any open function without leftist agents attempting to provoke violence or disrupting their speeches. Ask George Allen. He’ll tell you.

Kutcher, Moore Bring Star Power To Obama Campaign

    Stars Stump For Obama

September 27, 2008–Two of Hollywood’s biggest movie stars were in Iowa on Saturday, not to promote a movie, but a presidential candidate. Iowa native Ashton Kutcher and wife Demi Moore stopped at Iowa State University Saturday afternoon to stump for Barack Obama.

Kutcher and Moore may be known more for their movies than their politics, but they spoke out to young people as concerned voters themselves. Their message was simple, telling the young people just to get out and vote.

The duo called Bush an “idiot” and said through taxes, Americans are funding the destruction of the country.

Speaking to technology-savvy twenty-somethings, the stars encouraged the crowd to text message their friends, saying it’s their responsibility to teach them the important campaign issues. Healthcare, the $700 billion bailout plan and the Iraq war were some issues they brought up.

As actors, Kutcher and Moore said they don’t pretend to have the credibility to sway the voters, saying most of the people who showed up would have voted for Obama anyways. But they say as concerned citizens, they felt they had to stand up for change.

“I think that this time around I feel like I would be irresponsible if I don’t do something, and I think that this is just kind of the avenue and arena that we can best serve in,” Demi Moore said.

Kutcher says his brother and sister still live in Iowa and they can barely afford healthcare for their children. He says their experience inspired him to speak out for Obama. Kutcher said Iowans have a “sixth sense” and sense of realism about the issues, and feels confident they will make the “right choice” in November, no matter who they vote for.

This reminds me when Sarah Horseface Parker was stumping for Gore, whining about how her grandmother couldn’t afford her arthritis medications. Hey, here’s a little tip for Dumi and Asshtole…..LEND THEM THE MONEY TO BUY IT IF IT’S SO EXPENSIVE!!!!! :em58:

And yet once again, appealing to a group of idiots who haven’t even learned how hard the world actually is yet too. And Dumi is such a stellar rocket scientist that she can call Bush an idiot. What’s her qualifications? Screwing half of Hollywood? :em95:

I mean If I was Dumi, I wouldn’t be concerned about any of this if I was a good actress…but since she isn’t…. :em38:

And you can always tell in Hollywood when someone’s career is in the toilet. They aren’t called “Blah blah blah..star of the wildly successful..blah blah blah” “Political Activist” is their label. :em41:

  28. LC Lord Elrond Comment by LC Lord Elrond UNITED STATES

Oh, and here’s more about the ‘rocket scientist’ Moore who has the temerity to criticize a man who at least has a college degree……

    Biography

    Early life
Moore was born Demetria Gene Guynes in Roswell, New Mexico, and spent many of her childhood years in Rogers Manor, Pennsylvania, a small town south of Pittsburgh. As a child, Moore had a difficult and unstable home life. Her biological father, Charles Harmon, left her mother, Virginia King (November 27 1943 – July 2 1998), after a two-month marriage, before Moore was born. As a result, Moore had the surname of her stepfather, Danny Guynes (March 9 1943 – October 1980), on her birth certificate. Danny Guynes, who committed suicide in 1980, frequently changed jobs; as a result the family moved a total of forty times. Moore’s parents were also alcoholics and often fought and beat each other. Moore was cross-eyed as a child, and wore an eye patch in an attempt to correct the problem until it was eventually corrected by two surgeries. During this time, she also suffered from kidney dysfunction.[1]

Moore’s family settled in Los Angeles in 1976. When Moore was sixteen, her friend, actress Nastassja Kinski, persuaded her to drop out of Hollywood’s Fairfax High School, where her schoolmates included Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis and actor Timothy Hutton, to become an actress. In 1979, she met and married her first husband, songwriter Freddy Moore. Though they divorced in 1985, she kept the last name Moore.

    Career
After quitting school, Moore went to work as a pin-up girl, modelled for European photographers, and worked at a collection agency. In the early 1980s, Moore posed for a series of photographs for Christopher Marrin featuring full frontal nudity. These photos went unnoticed until after she became a star, and were eventually published in a German magazine and later in North America. Moore’s film debut was in the 1982 3-D science fiction/horror film, Parasite, which was a hit on the drive-in circuit, ultimately grossing $7 million.[2] However, Moore was not widely known until she played the part of Jackie Templeton on the ABC soap opera, General Hospital, from 1982-1983. Appropriately, she also had an uncredited cameo at the end of the 1982 spoof Young Doctors in Love.

YEAH!!!! HIGH SCHOOL DROPOUT!!! WORKED AS A PINUP GIRL AND SOFT CORE PORN!!!! YEAH THAT MAKES YOU AN AUTHORITY ON BEING AN IDIOT FOR SURE DUMI!!! I GUESS YOU FEEL YOUR EXPERIENCE QUALIFIES YOU TO RECOGNIZE ANOTHER IDIOT WHEN YOU SEE ONE??? :em01: :em72: :em41:

I posted the Blunt statement with some commentary by AllahPundit on my Livejournal page, and had the following discussion with my sister. She’s quite intelligent, but lord…. She attends the netroots conventions and uses articles from the Huffington Post or the MSM to bolster her arguements, while telling me that I can’t use folks like Ed Morrissey, because they’re biased, even though I’m mostly citing their sources, or worse yet, FOX because they are so biased.

    But here is the exchange:
    Sister:

    Uhhh.

This doesn’t give any specifics about what “the Obama campaign” has supposedly done, nor how it’s illegal, nor indeed who is involved, or, well, anything. Except that perennial scoff-law Blunt has his panties in a bunch about something.

Here, on the other hand, is some information about Blunt & Delay, and their money-laundering scheme . This link includes a link to the PDF of the consent decree they had to enter into with the Missouri Ethics Commission. There’s way more where that came from - the guy is scummy as hell.

Got links for that supposed unethical behavior out there, or just phony outrage from folks with an agenda. Sweetie, they’re clutching their pearls again - which means they’re lying.

    Me:

The letter from the general counsel for “Obama for America” which strongly suggests that stations which air an NRA ad (all of whose statements can be backed up) have to worry about losing their broadcast license isn’t conservative hallucinating.

When the SwiftVets came out against Kerry in ‘04 the first reaction from the campaign wasn’t a rebuttal, but threatening to shut down stations which aired the ad.

I know that my reaction to someone who doesn’t first rebut the message, but instead tries to shoot the messenger isn’t to think that the message is wrong.

I’ve seen some legal sites who’ve looked carefully at what the MO folks said, and while from a lawyer’s standpoint they may not have threatened much, even the lawyers admit that from a layman’s view, it looks very much like, “say anything critical of Obama, and you will have to defend yourself in court.” Especially since they didn’t say or even imply that they’d go after pro-Obama groups publishing factually wrong or misleading info about McCain, just the other way round.

It’s troubling to see law enforcement officials imply that they would use their powers to enforce the rules for one side only.

    Sister:

Well, sweetie, we do still have a “Truth in Advertising” standard in this country. Stations have a responsibility to do due diligence, and to refuse to air advertising that is demonstrably false.

The Swift Boat Veterans were lying. The NRA are lying.

When broadcasters allow false advertising on their stations - knowingly, i.e. after being warned about the false content, or if the false content is blindingly obvious - they deserve to have their licenses threatened. That’s why stations get notices about the falseness of advertising, and an opportunity to pull the ads, before having proceedings taken against them.

There’s an old lawyer saying: ““When the law is on your side, argue the law. When the facts are on your side, argue the facts. And when neither the facts nor the law are on your side, pound the table a lot.” Always look at who is getting red-faced and pounding the table (and calling on legitimate law authority to enforce standing law does not count as pounding the table - in fact, it’s the opposite.) The NRA and Blunt are throwing a hissy fit - they don’t have much of a case.

I lived in Missouri and have friends there. I wouldn’t trust Blunt and his crew further than I could throw them.

    Me:

I didn’t know that making statements based on a candidate’s voting record and campaign appearances is lying.

    Sister:

They have been perpetually mis-stating that record, and taking things out of context. Which is lying. Sorry.

It’s like Steve Schmidt bald-facedly repeating that Obama voted for some budget measure that would increase taxes on families making as little $42,000. This has been completely debunked, repeatedly, by independent fact-checking organizations, and the major media outlets - it’s simply not true - but they still go on TV and repeat it over and over, since there’s no “Truth in Punditry” law, and they know that far too few people will pay attention to the corrections.

If there’s a legal challenge, it’s based on an actual mis-statement in the ad, otherwise the FCC wouldn’t pursue the complaint. There is a legal definition of “true”, and ads need to pass it. And it’s a pretty low bar, at that.

    Me:

It is my understanding that the FCC didn’t pursue the complaint, but just knowing that they might have to legally defend every negative thing an ad they carry might say about a candidate is enough to put a chill on free speech.

I love (/sarc) how if an anti-Obama ad “takes things out of context” it’s lying, but it’s obviously OK for the pro-Obama folks to do it.
I love (/sarc) the use of the phrase “clutching their pearls”. Where the heck does that come from? It is a cliché phrase from DKos or HuffPo?
I love (/sarc) her use of sweetie. I’m not sure she even realizes consciously how demeaning it sounds.

And this is typical for my entire family who just can’t understand why I don’t agree with them. I love them, and don’t want anyone harrassing them, but do need to share my frustration with them.
