“You Have To Get Them While They’re Young”
Posted by: Emperor Misha I in Socialist Swine, The Obamessiah6:51 PM
We’ve already talked about the Obamaführer and his visions of a corps of mandatory volunteer citizens (which, by the way, is one heck of a needlessly complicated way of saying “Obama Jugend”) and now, thanks to Hot Air, we see that the mindless drones of the ObaMovement, or “Obowelmovement” as we like to call them, are already at it getting the first wave of children brainwashed to follow The Leader. It sounds better in the original German.
Kids dressed up in identical outfits (sometimes that phenomenon is referred to as “uniforms”), choreographed movements and lyrics about the Great Leader leading “them” and “changing the world”, lyrics that not a one of them have any idea about the true meaning of…
Yep, we’ve seen that before. We still have to insist that T-shirts are a bit naff for uniforms. Really now. Shirts, you nincompoops, shirts. The kind with breast pockets, shoulder straps and, for effect, a nice crossbelt.
See you in Nuremberg.

A bit of history…LC Crunchie can check me.
The 12th SS HY had three distinctions during the war. The first was that the division was only the second division to have the name “Hitler” in it’s name (the first being the 1st SS LSSAH).
The second is that they were the only Waffen SS division to accept volunteers 18 years and older.
The third is that they were second only to the 3rd SS Totenkopf (Death’s Head) in brutality.

We’re gonna spread happiness
We’re gonna spread freedom
Uhhhh…I thought we were doing that in Iraq…?
Sheesh….this IS creepy. Ballsac Hussein Obamoose as Reichsjugendfuhrer? I really don’t like the look of the little girl’s eyes as she sings; I know she’s using a prompter (as per their Leader’s example), but she looks drugged.
BTW, I’ve got a great JPEG of a Hitler Jugend poster which I can send to anyone who can Photoshop Obamoose’s picture into it. I don’t know my backside from a hole in the ground when it comes to that kind of stuff.
LOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

September 30th, 2008 at 8:30 PMUsing
Heh, I like that one. :em01:
Of course, the one thing the Obamoose Jugend’s Leader could NOT claim is racial purity, since he is “half white” as per his own definition.
LOS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 30th, 2008 at 8:34 PMUsing
Come to think of it, Otto der Schweigsame, Gröfaz wasn’t exactly all that Aryan looking himself, so maybe there’s a parallel there as well.
Not that we hear that much about him being “half white” these days. To listen to him and his hysterical acolytes, he’s darker than an Antarctic summer inside the ass of a penguin.
September 30th, 2008 at 8:43 PMUsing
Ja, Mein Kommandant, that is correct. One of history’s darkest ironies was that Größter Feldherr Aller Zeiten looked rather Semitic in comparison with most of the Jugend who emulated him.
Hmmmmm….do we know for certain that Obama’s lineage doesn’t include a bit of salvaged sperm from Der Fuhrer? We could be looking at one of the “Boys from Brazil” here… :em93:
But of course, he’s way too much of a Communist to ever embrace National Socialism…not that there’s a damn bit of difference between ‘em.

It’s disgusting to see that so many of the voting public are dumb enough to blame Bush and the Republican party for the mortgage crisis, et al. If only people would do the research!!!
September 30th, 2008 at 9:12 PMUsing
Well, there’s a slight difference, Herr Kaleun: the National Socialists tend to have snazzier uniforms than the Commies. :em93:

That’s what has me worried, as well.
Do McCain/Palin, not to mention the rest of the Party Leadership, even have a clue that they could seriously lose this thing?
It now appears that the Senate could do what the House did not, and force the House to create an acceptable version of the defeated bailout?

And these same people are the ones who ask “How could the German people have gone along with the Nazi’s?”
Damn, this is getting scarier and scarier.
BTW 29ID, correct on all three points. With the possible exception of number 3. The 4th Waffen SS Polizei Division had a pretty nasty reputation too, but they were smaller and didn’t have as much an impact. Also, they fought exclusively on the Eastern front where brutality was the norm. Harder to stand out for exceptional cruelty when your competing with the Einsatzgruppen.

Public service huh? Seems what Obama has in mind is controlled public servitude to causes he and his followers deem correct. Got news for this fool….most people already do perform public service in one form or another. From Scout masters to charitable organizations, volunteers abound. I see them daily. My wife and I are two of them, contributing our own cash and several hours a week to what we can contribute, given our means and time. In our case, both of us working in the coatings industry, we decided to remove graffiti in our home town. The city council and police are our friends in this endeavor. We check all five parks, downtown and the benches and such around town every Saturday morning. Nice and early, when the tweakers have finally crashed and the drunks are sleeping it off. Photos e-mailed to the pee dee, evidence, usually in the form of spray cans, handed over to the cops. All of them like us for some reason, one saying we have pissed a lot of taggers off, not knowing who we are, but removing their tags almost daily, forcing them to do it again, risking being nailed. It has happened. If discovered, well, they have been warned by the NRA decals on my door locks…..and we do have our guns. The cops back us to the hilt. If tags are low, we pick up litter instead. Widely known is my personal attitude about the Vet Memorial. The cops may be looking for me at that point, wondering how I managed to shove a spray can up some kids butt. So far it has not been touched, knowing some vets won’t play, and somebody could end up getting killed or severely beaten. What Obama and his ilk consistently fail to realize is people can make up their own minds as to what they wish to support with their time and money. I also write editorials for our local paper, free of charge, supporting causes I believe in. You folks already know what they are………

this is a coincidence,
I was listening to some old Steppenwolf on the way home tonight, specifically a song called The Ostrich. Although it was written in the late 60’s…and is a social commentary on the “bad old establishment” I found some of the lyrics strikingly fitting to what the left wants to impose on us in this country….here is a sample of the lyrics:
We’ll call you when you’re six years old
And drag you to the factory
To train your brain for eighteen years
With promise of security
and this one:
You’re free to speak your mind my friend
As long as you agree with me
Don’t criticize the father land
Or those who shape your destiny
‘Cause if you do
You’ll lose your job your mind and all the friends you knew
We’ll send out all our boys in blue
They’ll find a way to silence you
very fitting don’t you think?
What I find surprising is how all of these old anti-establishment songs seem so relevant today…..and more surprising still, is how the leftists have taken on the oppressive, authoritarian face that they so railed against back then. Like John Kay and Steppenwolf also said:
“There’s a monster on the loose, it’s got our heads into the noose”
September 30th, 2008 at 10:26 PMUsing
Akornzombie, Mein Komrade, the file is on its way.
Ja, Wes, I agree on both points. I must say, though, it’s a toss up as to who had the better goose-stepping technique. :em93:

In honor of the sexiest VP candidate in US history, I am quaffing several pints of Moose Drool Brown Ale, crafted by a microbrew out of Missoula, MT. If you like brown ales with some hoppy testosterone to them, then I highly recommend it.

John Kay of Steppenwolf, well, I’ll let the band explain:
Apparently he knows the joys of both the Nazis and the Commies.
Kapitan
Unfortunately my budget these days calls for cheap beer with little flavor. My arthritis had forced me to give up homebrewing.
But I love a good brown ale.
As for the video, I couldn’t get past the first 30 seconds. Shivers began going down my spine.
I wanted to talk with these people, explain to them that about 75 years ago a leader was worshipped in words and in song. But they wouldn’t listen.

One more thing, I give you “The Wall”:
THE WALL
From the 1990 release “Rise & Shine”
Words and music by John Kay, Michael Wilk and Rocket Ritchotte
Crossing the line in the dead of night
Five years old and on the run
This ain’t no game, boy, don’t make a sound
And watch that man with the gun
Say a prayer for the ones we leave behind, say a prayer for us all
Come take my hand now and hold on tight
Take one last look at that wall
Think of the shattered lives, think of the broken hearts
Think of the battered dreams, of families still torn apart
Wall of bitter tears, wall of crying pain
Wall of chilling fear, you will never keep me here
For I, I shall crawl right down through that wall
I will crawl right on through that wall
That fateful night I was one that got away,
A young and restless renegade
Chasing my dreams, still on the run,
I had some moments in the sun
Years flew by like a speeding bullet train, I sang my songs to one and all
Then came the day when I had a chance to pay
My respects to the names on that wall
I saw the wooden crosses, saw the bloody stains
Saw the gruesome pictures of all the ones that died in vain
Wall of countless victims, wall of endless shame
Had just one thing gone wrong I might have joined that list of names
And I cried for all who died there at the wall
I recall weeping at the wall
“Freedom has many difficulties, and democracy is not perfect,
But we’ve never had to put a wall up to keep our people in…
While the wall is the most obvious demonstration of the failures of communism,
We take no pride in it…for it is an offense against humanity, separating families,
Dividing husbands and wives, brothers and sisters and
People who wish to be joined together…
All free men, wherever they may live, are citizens of Berlin
And therefore, as a free man I take pride in the words “Ich bin ein Berliner”.
(Excerpts from John F. Kennedy speech at the Berlin wall June 26, 1963)
Turned on the news in November ‘89
I could not move, I could not speak
Something was burning up in my eyes,
Something wet ran down my cheek
All those laughing faces, all those tears of joy
All those warm embraces of men and women, girls and boys
Sisters and brothers dancing, all singing freedom’s song
God, if only I could be there to shake your hands and sing along
Oh I, I would climb right up on that wall
And join you all dancing on the wall
Standing tall walking on the wall
Tear it down, right down to the ground
Tear it down, right down to the ground

jaybear,
Back in the 1960s a favorite literary masterpiece in univeristy circles was a short play Rhinoceros by Eugene Ionesco. It was considered very revolutionary, and Ionesco was a hero to the Left.
October 1st, 2008 at 1:34 PMIf you can find it, it is really woth the reading. Subsequently Ionesco has come out as a hero to the Right, and Rhinoceros is more properly recognized as a play about defiance of leftist conformity and collectivism. The poor protagonist just wants to remain a human and not turn into a Rhino. Me too.
Using
LC Rurik:
Oddly, I actually have a copy of “The Rhinoceros”. I’m gonna re-read it tonight.
Is Ionesco still alive? Just curious…..

Speaking of scary, here’s some info on the state of Germany during the Hitlerjugend years. Much sounds disturbingly familiar… [Note: all bold emphases are mine]
Substitute “Obamoose” for “Fuhrer” there and you can see some very revealing parallels.

I think was the Jesuits that said that, or something similar. But it does sound like a particular Marxist sentiment.

Nerby, Jaybear , and others
Ionesoc lived from 1909 to March 1994. It was some time during the 1980s that I read about one of the conservative organizations, I think it may have been Heritage, honoring him for his defense of freedom.
October 2nd, 2008 at 4:42 PMIn addition to Rhinoceros, some of his other plays were also pretty wothwhile. Ionesco is probably closest to the Libertarians, though he’s probably not doctrinaire enough for the Party.
Now in this century he has a new cogency for those who do not wish to turn into a Rhinoceros or a RINO,
Using
Mega,
I doubt it was Marx; he seemed mroe interested in the allegedly scientific and hsitoric aspects of socialism. In his view, it was inevitable and a result of a revolutionary process. Seems a far more Leninist attitude.
I believe it was a modification of Lenin’s statement that “Give me control of the children for for ten(?) years, and Bolshevism will never be uprooted”.
