Not the balls to the wall performance I’d hoped for from whassisface? but, on the other hand, not the limpwristed “let’s play along to go along” abject failure that I’d expected, he did get some good punches in. Problem was, when the Obamaliar responded to those punches with blatant lies, whassisface? failed to follow through.
Doesn’t seem to have been a total disaster, though. A poll published by Politico, who aren’t exactly known for being in whassisface?’s tank, shows that Obambi won by a statistically insignificant hair overall and lost big to whassisface? among Independents.
So put the razors down, Eeyores.
To give you an example of the blatant lies flowing effortlessly from the Obamastalin’s pie hole, there’s the old tired “kill him!” meme. The problem with this particular lie is that the people who’d know, the Secret Service, never heard any such thing:
Agent Bill Slavoski said he was in the audience, along with an undisclosed number of additional secret service agents and other law enforcement officers and not one heard the comment.
“I was baffled,” he said after reading the report in Wednesday’s Times-Tribune.
He said the agency conducted an investigation Wednesday, after seeing the story, and could not find one person to corroborate the allegation other than Singleton. [Some idiot presstitute with a hard-on for the Obamessiah -- Ed.]
I don’t know about y’all, but if I have to choose between a presstitute Obamashill and a highly trained professional specifically looking for shit like that… You do the math.

I still don’t get how ANYONE with half a brain could be undecided or “independent”, even from the end of the primaries. Regardless of liking McCain or not, it’s a clear and easy choice between an honorable person with a lifetime of experience vs a Marxist, lying, inexperienced political hack out of the Chicago Machine that likes to hang out with bad nasty people.
That said, every debate I try to watch I end up wistfully imagining Fred or Mitt up there instead. Sigh…. if only.
October 16th, 2008 at 12:52 AMUsing
Oh, Keith “Bi-polar” Olbermann said so, it must be true.
Do they have any proof to corroborate story? Other than one reporter who says he “heard it?” Maybe he also hears aliens probing him or angels telling him to drown his children. Isn’t there some journalism rule that says you have to have 2 sources in order to print? Not in Obamedialand I guess. Also, someone should look into Singleton’s background. Anyone can say anything.
I’m so FRUSTRATED!! I keep telling people who should know better not to vote for Obama, but it’s not working. I’m in NYC, maybe that explains it. I haven’t watched one single debate, because a) I already know who I’m voting against; and b) I get even more frustrated.
How can half the country be brain-dead, under a spell, or psychotic?! Just like Germany 1933 - BTW, Hitler ALSO won that election by fraud.
And THIS:
What happened? October 15th has come and gone. Anyone know?

Misha, we should be pushing Obama’s redistubtion of wealth plan as “trickle up poverty”
I heard that on Michael Savage tonight and he said we are free to use it.

I missed the debate, due to having to work the late shift. From what I’ve gathered, it sounds like much of what I predicted: a few good punches here and there, a general good-faith effort by McCain, but no real zingers or KO’s.
I’m genuinely conflicted; the media is completely in the tank for Urkel, he’s got scores of underlings committing outright voter fraud in at least half a dozen swing states and the tracking polls all show him with a 350+ electoral vote advantage.
So why do I still sense that the final verdict won’t be anything close to a landslide?
October 16th, 2008 at 3:21 AMUsing
Im always reminded of a Churchill quote every time some marxist fakir starts dribbling on about redistributing wealth.
Some people regard private enterprise as a predatory tiger to be shot. Others look on it as a cow they can milk. Not enough people see it as a healthy horse, pulling a sturdy wagon.
Winston Churchill
And this one,
Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.
Winston Churchill
Trust me fellas, once you get enough people trained to look to the gubbinmint to look after them, even the conservitive parties fall into line to dish it out. (Australia is an example of this, Howard, as good as he was didnt trim back on welfare )

Too right, mate. England and Germany are good examples as well. Both countries actually have a lot of sturdy conservatives, but overall the major parties are moving more socialist with each election. It’s like a heroin addiction. The withdrawal is hard and nobody wants to do it, but each time you need a larger fix… :em38:

Yeah but knowing what we know now, should we find somewhere or carve it out for ourselves, could we not take a much more brutal line towards said parasites and/or their enablers/sympathisers?

Hoping O’Reilly is right and McCain is going to go Balls to the Wall in the last 2 weeks. Other wise the RNC should.

Hmmm…. I’d like a nice tropical island, with some off-shore oil… Oh wait, there is one! C-U-B-A! Cubans who are still there are fed up with communism, Castro is a decrepit piece of crap. I think a platoon on the ground, with a couple of “birds” for air support could do the job. :em95:

Add in a platoon of armor and I’m all game. I reckon you could easily fill a couple of platoons from resident rotties. And a 2nd beach front property… who could say no to that ?

Yeah a tropical island would be nice… but I prefer a drier heat if possible :em93:

I’m leaning towards an old decomissioned nuke silo in the Mid-West. I hear they are an absolute steal pricewise. A hardened tactical bunker provided by our own government. Should keep the Looters and Rioters at bay.

To quote Lord Vader, “I find your lack of faith disturbing.”
I trust the majority of American people to know when they are being propositioned by a manure merchant. While McCain did a lousy follow through on many of the points that he could have and should have bloddied Barry the Blessed™ last night, Joe the Plumber was the spectre at Barry’s tax cut banquet. Do not underestimate the effect that the tax discussion had. Even many in the “Give me more” crowd understands that the money has to come from somewhere and businesses are not going to provide enough, and Joe the Plumber brings home the realization that the coming tax hammer is going to effect their abilities to find jobs and advance their own financial situation.
There is plenty to be angry about. A candidate who won’t tell the American people who his opponent is, a press that cannot lie, obfuscate, or cover up facts fast enough, a socialist who gets to peddle his barely veiled hatred of America to adoring throngs everywhere, and a “community organizing” group recieving our tax money to register the dead, the ineligible, and the non-existent to vote in many states throughout the money, and continue to receive it despite having been caught in this fraud and being sued for RICO violations in one of these states. My blood pressure has been hovering at unsafe levels for a while. But if you give up, they win.
I have kids. I’ll keep swinging, thanks.

Frankly, someone probably did say, “Kill him!” I can certainly imagine taking my husband to a rally like this after he had half a pint of Jack in him and having him say that.
Not that it’s right, but tempers are running high these days.

Careful, Frau Natasha—remember the Bay of Pigs. The Cubans have little in the way of material, but they have AlWAYS had fighting spirit.
Besides, Cuba is such a scheisshole from 45 yrs. of enlightened Socialist government that it would take DECADES to bring it into the 21st century.
Of course, the Cubans can make a KILLING selling parts to restorers of classic American cars. :em93:

I think its going to be tight
I think in many ways were are cylical in our government + 2 D
I think there is a real validity to a “Bradley Effect” + 1 R
I think the Independants and PUMAS will have an effect + 1 R
Obama’s race will draw some voters out of the ghetto +1 D
Acorns bullshit may benefit Obama + 1 D (this one is tricky, backlash and McCain may benefit)
Palins effect will draw Fringe and solidfy base +1 R
There is a “event” occuring at sea as we speak… that may benefit the R’s with the Jewish & jewish supporters blocks. We shall have to wait on that, but if what is being reported about this ship is true… it could change the current focus away from economics and into a “McCain” friendly issue. Short story is that it is possible that a sizable Iranian ship was in the process of being used as a WMD Dirty Bomb (RAD) to be exploded immediatly offshore of Isreal after exiting the Suez Canal. US , Russian, and I think Fwance, Navies are waiting for it to enter waters off the coast of Africa to inspect it. If this is true, there is going to be a shitstorm… it seems the ship picked up the RAD material in CHINA, and the Isreali’s are more than a little concerned about Iran as it is.
I think its going to be tight and contested by whoever loses..
