Best Interview of Joe Biden. Ever!
Posted by: Emperor Misha I in Socialist Swine, The Obamessiah2:01 PM
Every once in an exceedingly rare while, a journalist decides to do what they’re supposed to do, which is to ask tough questions of the loony left as well.
Barbara West of WFTV did just that, so do yourselves a favor and go watch. She hits on every single major fuckup of the ObaNazi’s campaign, and does so politely, smilingly and without once interrupting Robinette Hairplugs or even raising her voice.
This, of course, led to the thin-skinned Marxists of the Obambi campaign canceling another scheduled interview with Hairplug’s wife, citing, and we quote, “an unprofessional, combative interview.”
Par for the course for the Socialist cockroaches of the left. Whenever somebody shines even the slightest light on them, quoting their own words and using them against them, he or she is being “combative”, “uninformed” and is attempting to “Swiftboat” the poor Marxist fuck.
The whole interview is hilarious to watch as Hairplugs, being not at all used to be asked questions by the Obamedia harder than “what is your favorite color?” and “don’t you think that the Anointed One is just the best thing to happen in all of mankind’s history?”, lies, tap dances and lies some more.
The most hilarious lie of his is his claim that the ObaMarx’s campaign “hasn’t spent one single penny on ACORN to get out the vote.”
Which is true, sort of. They’ve spent 83,200,000 pennies on them. And they tried to hide the fact by creatively renaming the expenditure in their books. Which, as we all know, is what all honest people with nothing to hide do.
Fucking Marxist frauds.
UPDATE: Well whaddaya know? The video at WFTV has suddenly and “mysteriously” become “unavailable.” Alright then. Courtesy of LC Lisa, try this instead:

I almost fell over dead of a heart attack when I watched the vid. It’s been so many years since I saw a reporter actually ask one of these turds some real questions. As you can see in the vid, Biden is equally as surprised as I.

You’re a brave man sir. Couldn’t watch more than 2 minutes.
Why is every body on the dem side running against Pres. Bush? Even the local politicians here in New England from federal down to local level are running against a man Who isn’t running. The mice behind my stove are smarter than that.
Yes, I realize they are trying to tie their opponents to ‘Bush’s failed policies’ but yeesh, doesn’t anyone ask them, as this brave soul did, just what those ‘failed’ policies are? And what they propose to do about them?
Lord help us.

“Is this a joke???” BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
There goes any hope Barbara West may have had for career advancement beyond local TV. Asking real questions like that of a Democrat will only get her blacklisted in NYC and LA. The networks’ loss is Orlando’s gain, and I hope viewers down there recognize how lucky they are to have such a rare gem of a broadcast journalist like Ms. West.

Barbera West: “You may recognize this famous quote, “From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs.” That’s Karl Marx. How is Senator Obama not being a Marxist if he intends to spread the wealth around?”
Dimwit: “Are you joking? Is this a joke, or is that a real question?”
Cross-talk from West: “No. That’s a question.”
Dimwit: “He is not spreading the wealth around. …”
See, at this point I would have had to interject: “Just a moment, Senator Biden. Senator Obama answered a question on his tax plan by saying, “I think that when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.” Are you claiming that he was lying or that he doesn’t intend to follow principles he believes are good for everybody?”

Your observation is correct as to her future job prospects in a “major” market—she’s toast in any of the traditional ones. My guess is, she will find an IRS audit waiting for her this year, as well (at least, if Moossolini wins). Of course, if she plays her cards right she could become a major journalist/blogger and be another Michelle Malkin, only with greater MSM exposure.
Personally, I thought this was the BEST interview of a presidential/VP candidate I have seen in my lifetime. Watching Plugs squirm was worth the price of admission; watching the growing anger in his eyes as he realized his Alpha was swaying in the breeze was even better. :em01:

I’m not one to buy into conspiracy theories or dire warnings about the 2nd amendment being abolished or censorship being enacted thru the fairness doctrine….but the more I see these marxist bastards operate, the more my wariness about what’s at stake here grows.
I was surprised at how busy the gun shop/firing range I go to was today. After shooting, I went in to buy more ammo and the line at the counter was 2 -3 deep, and it wasn’t for ammo purchases either….they were buying guns. I always check out the wall behind the counter to see what they are selling and it was about 33% empty, not a lot of stock like there was 3 weeks ago. the guy behind the counter told me it’s the busiest that he’s ever seen it, and it’s been like that all week.
and I must say that alarmed me a little. Not sure what’s in store if “that one” gets elected, but the level of discomfort I see in my buddy who’s a local talk radio host and sometimes hannity fill-in and the uneasiness I saw at the gun store today doesn’t sit well with me……it get me thinking

Amen, Jaybear. The owner of the gun shop and I had a long conversation regarding this issue. We talked about the Marlin he sold me, an excellent rifle for closer ranges, packs a wallop. In front of me he sold a gal a .32 pistol she liked for home protection. I watched her fire it downstairs at the range. At Wal-Mart the clerk had to hunt for the .44 mags I wanted. I think a lot of people are quietly wondering what may come down…….most of them more afraid of thugs than the government. As with you, I am now giving conspiracy theories a hard second look, if nothing else to simply be aware of them. If TSHTF all my efforts will be massively accelerated, a day off work, or more; spend all my cash on ammo, gas and food. Keep a little perhaps. But barter will be where it’s at, medications for example. I’ve already planned for it, down to the sixty gallons of gas I will have here for my two generators.

Wow. Regular visitors to this site will readily attest that it is rare for me to be lost for words. This video momentarily achieved the nigh on impossible and rendered me completely dumbstruck for, ooh, at least four seconds. No, seriously. That’s a long time for me.
The reason I was so flabbergasted was because the roiling, tumultuous, cataclysmic flood of 100% grade A DUMB, spewing from the gaudy maw of Barbara West like so much sewage from a busted storm drain (Where’s Joe the Plumber when you need him?), rendered me so utterly incredulous that I was unable to process all the possible rebuttals to her dunderheaded questions and they all got lodged in a kind of mental bottleneck. I just couldn’t figure out what to call bullshit on first. And that’s why this response was delayed for a whole four seconds. Barbara West’s questions were so stupid they damaged my brain.
Let’s start with this whole ACORN thing because it’s been bugging me for a while. I readily admit I’m not entirely 100% au fait with the intricacies of the American electoral proceedure. As I understand it, ACORN has recently gotten into a bit of hot water because some of their registration workers handed in lists of names which have since been proven to be fraudulent. Frankly, I do not see how this concerns anyone outside the ACORN H.R. department. ACORN employ an enormous number of registration workers. Obviously, not all of these people are going to turn out to be 100% kosher. Some of them (the horror, the HORROR!) will try to get away with making a fast buck. In this instance, it appears these unsavoury characters found that they couldn’t be bothered jumping through the tedious hoops implicit to voter registration and instead decided to just make shit up. This sucks for ACORN, who are required by law to process the garbage these people turned in, but I don’t see what difference these shenanigans make to anybody else.
Donald Duck isn’t going to turn up and vote just because some joker put his name down on a registration form (although, if he did, I reckon he’d vote Ron Paul. Dunno why. I just get that vibe). Nor is your dearly departed Aunt Mabel going to rise from the dead and stagger down to the polling station just to satisfy ACORN’s bogus paperwork.
So no, Barbara West, the Obama campaign has absolutely no reason whatsoever to be embarrassed about any association with ACORN that they may have.
Of course, as Joe Biden ably pointed out, the Obama campaign doesn’t have any association with ACORN. Desperate wingnuts and arch conspiracy theorists the world over cannot seem to finish a sentence without demanding “full disclosure” about Obama’s relationship with ACORN. Well, in the spirit of giving, here it is. Here’s the full disclosure you’ve all been waiting for. Are you ready? Right:
1) In 1992 Obama directed Project Vote. The McCain camp alleges this is part of ACORN. In fact, it is a different organisation. They have worked together, but were not affiliated in any way in 1992 when Obama was working for Project Vote.
2) Obama represented ACORN along with numerous other plaintiffs in a joint case against the governor of Illinois. Obama worked for the civil rights firm Miner, Barnhill and Galland. The case was handled by that firm.
3) Obama paid $832,000.00 to Citizen’s Services. Some of this money went to a ‘Get Out The Vote’ effort. A small amount of the work involved in this effort was outsourced to ACORN. There is no indication whatsoever that the Obama campaign approved this outsourcing. Citizen’s Services paid ACORN eighty two thousand dollars, less than a tenth of the amount the Obama campaign gave to Citizen’s Services.
For the purposes of comparison the Obama campaign has spent nearly four hundred million dollars since August. FYI, I got the above info from the notoriously liberal Houston Chronicle
That’s it. A great big fucking load of nothing.
Joe Biden’s response was a perfectly adequate one but I feel it was unnecessarily defensive. Barbara West asked a ridiculously loaded question which assumed a priori that Obama was both connected to ACORN and that the nature of the connection was suspect. Still, it seems questions in this same vein, of this precise tone, and with just as much grounding in observable reality, reflect the gold standard of the journalistic profession and should be held up as a model to which burgeoning newshounds can aspire. In the spirit of learning from Barbara West, apogee of journalistic integrity that she is, I would like to ask her the question I feel Joe Biden should have used to frame his response: Babs, why are you so fucking stupid?
See, Babs’ stupidity is presumed a priori to be an indelible facet of her personality. Frankly, I’m pretty sure I’m on firmer ground with my assumption than Babs was with hers. I offer as evidence her next question: Is Obama a Marxist?
Now, it is a little difficult to explain just what a travesty this question is without knowing whether Barbara West was thinking of Structural Marxism, Neo-Marxism, Cultural Marxism, Autonomist Marxism, Analytical Marxism, Post-Marxism, Frankfurt School Marxism, or the fluffy-fuzzy-non-existent-tabloid-Marxism which only exists as a loose agglomeration of neuroses and pseudo-philosophical gibberish inside the empty heads of thickwitted sows like Barbara West. I don’t have enough time or bandwidth to do justice to the question “What is Marxism?” Those interested can get a decent enough gist from Wikipedia. I believe it will suffice if I just briefly point out that all government funded schemes are funded by wealth distribution. The army, the navy, the air force, and all the emergency services which conspire round the clock to keep Barbara West safe to spout as much idiotic crap as her syphilitic, stunted little brain can concoct are all funded by wealth distribution. That is to say, money has been taken from tax payers, put into a big pot, and redistributed to pay for all these services. At the end of the day, government is just a great big wealth redistribution organisation. Does Barbara West want to disband the government? If so, she’s in good company. Dissolution of government was Karl Marx’s end goal as well. Once Capitalism had fallen in upon itself, he predicted, the proletariat would overthrow the bourgeoisie and establish a temporary Socialist dictatorship as a precursor to the final shift into perpetual communism, where people would live off the land free from the tyrannical rule of the overclass.
Now, I doubt Babs sees things happening in quite the same way. Still, if she is really as ideologically opposed to wealth distribution as this interview lets on then I don’t see how she could be anything other than approving of the collapse of Western democracy. I guess the real question is: Why does Barbara West hate America, and what isn’t she telling us about her Marxist sympathies?
A note, briefly, on civility. This dried up, menopausal old harpie was able to get under Biden’s skin because her questions were needlessly provocative, factually barren trash dressed up and presented as hard hitting journalism. Hay is being made over the fact that Biden was terse while she was ‘civil’. I believe this interview made a mockery of the very concept of civility. To be civil to one’s opponent necessarily involves tackling his best arguments, and entertaining the best reasonable picture of him throughout. It does not involve making unwarranted leaps of logic and imagination to taint him with the hint of corruption. It does not involve playing on popular ignorance to connect him to bloodthirsty and antidiluvian ideologies. No amount of telegenic panache can mask the cold hostility behind Barbara West’s questions. As the Bard observed, one can smile and smile and be a villain. Barbara West is too stupid to be a villain. She may think she is, but she’s really little more than a mouthpiece. The villains are those putting this garbage into circulation.

See if nations like Poland or the Czech Republic or the formerly East Germany would like to live as a marxist state again…
Obama has used terms like “spread the wealth” and “This is the moment when we must build on the wealth that open markets have created, and share its benefits more equitably.” and “It’s not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren’t like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations”….

I am astonished at the degree of patriotism this election has gernerated. This should be a bang up display of the success of Democrat get-out-the-vote programs. To give the devil his due, they have worked very hard to register every name possible, some not even in this country. I laud their willingness to cross party lines and register long dead Republicans as Democrats. Given the results I see, I expect a massive voter turn out with 125% to 150% of eligible voters to cast ballots for Obama and only about 53% of eligible voters to cast votes for McCain. Grits

Muzzy,
One could not help but notice that the flag you fly is British who have been reasonably comfortable with socialist policies for GOD knows how long. So we wouldn’t expect you to understand how blatantly ridiculous Obama’s decision to “spread the wealth” is. This country is founded on principles that if you work hard, generate opportunity, you KEEP the hard earned fruits of your labors. If you CHOOSE to give to those less fortunate, that’s one thing but no one in this country desires a system that summarily COMMANDS a citizen to give up all that he’s worked hard for. Otherwise, there isn’t much motivation to do that.
And quite frankly, the guys like Biden have gotten away for FAR too long without being asked the hard questions. For my money, Mrs. West is right on it.

I find it skewed, all the polls screaming Obama, yet I see very few signs, all of them are McCain. I really don’t know who is going to win. I worry about what may be attempted with Obama’s Hilter youth, etc. I don’t give a shit if they gloat, it; it oculd prove short-lived as Clinton learned in ‘94. They will seek to subject us through financial blackmail, fairness doctrines, rather than force of arms. It’s far more ambiguous and personally safer. And really, there are thousands of examples. Then again, plenty of regulars here have given me cites which seem to indicate these same institutions have a pro-liberal bias. How can this be? How can two people separated only by their political affiliation acquire diametrically opposed perspectives on the veracity and impartiality of the same sources?
Well here’s my theory. American mainstream media is, by and large, unburdened by ideological bias. They’re always chasing the money. If market research indicates that adopting a mild to moderate conservative bias will prove the most financially viable strategy for the next quarter, then that’s precisely what they’ll do. They’ll swap their conservative bias for a liberal one as soon as it becomes expedient. By adopting this strategy these media institutions offend both the hard left and hard right equally.
This inclines the extremists on both sides to seek out other sources. The right-wing partisans get their information from blatantly pro-republican sources like FOX News, Hot Air.com, Pajamas Media, and so forth. The left-wing partisans head over to Huffington Post, Slate, and Daily Kos. These are sources with a clear and unabashed ideological bias. Moreover, the picture is complicated by the fact that ideologues on the left and right can never seem to shut the fuck up about how “biased” the MSM is. And because the MSM offends leftwing and rightwing partisans equally, the ideologues on both sides never run out of material to support their respective cases.
The deeper the partisans delve into their respective echo chambers, the more frequently they are bombarded with stories about how hard done by they are by the MSM. Soon enough, it gets to the point where these radicals see MSM bias everywhere. The sad truth is that they’re both being played by the news sources they trust the most. All this is compounded by the fact that all human beings naturally tend to remember things which confirm what they already believe and forget things which don’t. This is, as I’m sure you’re aware, confirmation bias.
So, in short, I don’t care how hard you think conservatives have it. The MSM is just as unfair to liberals. For the same reason, I don’t care how hard they think they have it either.
Hey, I don’t tell you how to spend time with your bangie thing. Besides, from the side I look like Popeye! :em93:

How so? Seriously, I’m keen to learn. How can a phony voter registration form translate to a phony vote? Like I said above, just because someone puts Donald Duck on a registration form doesn’t mean he’s gonna show on November 4th. It’s a direct attempt by some scallywag to get a free lunch out of ACORN, but it doesn’t really have any significance beyond that.
I’d like a cite for this please. It is essential that your cite demonstrate that these alleged fraudsters were tangibly connected to the Obama campaign.
Absolutely. I completely agree and I apologise if I inadvertently gave the impression that I hold Marxist sympathies. I most emphatically don’t. I have, however, taken the time to learn what Marxism actually is and so it annoys me when insensate, fear-mongering drones like Barbara West throw the term around as a rhetorical bludgeon while simultaneously displaying a galling ignorance of the theory’s most basic premises. That’s why I listed so many different flavours of Marxism. I wanted to emphasise the point that, once you really get into it, it’s a lot more complicated than many people think. Merely supporting some measure of wealth redistribution cannot in any way qualify anyone as a ‘Marxist’. As I said in my previous post, nearly everyone supports some measure of wealth redistribution. You do. I do. Mongoloid hausfrau’s like Barbara West do. That doesn’t mean we’re Marxists, and Obama is not a Marxist.
Doesn’t this imply that Obama is pro-trade? Not very Marxist, is it?

That’s when you realised I disagreed with you, right? I can see you’re all about free discussion.
Well, as you’ve already admitted, you haven’t read it. You got just far enough to realise that I wasn’t working myself into a gooey frenzy over Barbara fucking West before you switched off and retreated into your hermetically sealed echo chamber. You’ve neglected to respond to any points and nothing in either of your posts has persuaded me that you’d be capable of doing so.

Am I to take it you are opposed to all government organisations? There are plenty of people out there who believe that national security is better dealt with privately, and who point to the emergency services as examples of inefficient government monopolies. There are also people who, like Senator Obama, believe that there exist workable models for the implementation of UHC. You evidently lie between these two perspectives. Please explain why you are right and everyone else is wrong.

quite simple, here in Washington state we’re transitioning to entirely voting by mail…..no more polling places, no more showing ID’s when I vote. If I registered through ACORN, say about 10 times….using my friends addresses and different names…then I would receive 10 ballots…..they’re catching people already doing that. Also, I can show up at a polling place and if I fake some excuse like “I don’t have my voter registration card” they will offer me a provisional ballot to vote with. The validation process has become very watered down due to the “disenfranchisement” used by your leftist peers over here……and that’s why they aren’t hollering about vote fraud either.
Frankly Muzzy, I find it very disconcerting that people like you so easily dismiss fraudulent voter registration…..but I guess that’s not a worry over there now that you’re adopting sharia as your guiding law eh?
ask and ye shall receive
well, being one of the resident history freaks around here I’ve done a little reading up on Marx, Engels, and Lenin….I find them repulsive. marxism is a complicated ideaology, but if truth be told….every time it is applied to a society that society stops growing and withers. There are some here who have lived under it, I seen it’s results personally in East Germany and Czechoslovakia and it ain’t pretty. I was in Czechoslovakia when that nation had just thrown off the yoke of marxism and was awakening to a new era of democracy and burgeoning prosperity, it was pretty impressive to see.
I don’t, at least not at the hands of a marxist/obama government mandate. I donate to charities all the time, and give to the Salvation Army and others…but that is voluntary and that’s the way it should stay.

But, like it or not, you also benefit substantially from socialist wealth redistribution. If, heaven forbid, your house were to catch fire, the blaze would be extinguished by publicly funded fire fighters. You don’t pay for them. Joe the Plumber does. That is to say, some of Joe’s money is redistributed to fund the fire brigade which saves your house, and some of your money is redistributed to similarly save someone else’s house. What would you say to a Presidential candidate who proposed opening fire fighting to competitive market forces and obliging all citizens to take out fire protection insurance? If you’re like most people, you’d probably say “Fuck Joe the Plumber. Leave things as they are”. But there’s no moral difference between redistributing wealth to pay for the fire service and redistributing wealth to pay for anything else, so wealth redistribution isn’t prima facie immoral.

First off let me say that despite our profound philosophical and political differences, I have enjoyed trading barbs with you and I must compliment you on yer sense of humor. That said, here’s the but, yer still a socialist wannabe wanker.
Comparing the essential services of protecting public infrastructure, such as the firefighter example above, to the redistribution of wealth from societies productive citizens to the lazy welfare class is a non-sequitor at best. If you were to read our Constitution you would see that there are certain services that the gubment was instituted for. Common defense, posting roads etc are some of them, and there aren’t many more. What the government is specifically authorized to do is purposely limited. Providing for the specific welfare of individual citizens is not one of them. Redristibution of wealth is nothing more than vote buying, and once a society decides that it can simply vote itself the right to someone else’s property, democracy dies and is replaced by socialism.
As an addendum, it used to be that most firefighters and even police and military WERE private entities. Worked well then, and still does in more rural areas. Smaller towns still survive with predominantly volunteer fire departments, and police services used to be provided by private citizens. Even military units were privately owned and at times hired out to the state or Federal government. Those models will no longer function, but paying for them with public funds is not wealth distribution. You are in essence buying a service. Taking money from the pocket of one person and giving it to another by force of arms is nothing short of robbery. We receive nothing in return for our money other than an expanded government and a parasitic class of non producing leaches. I will, and do, gladly contribute to private charities that help the destitute or those who have fallen on hard times. And they use the money effectively, actually helping those that need it.

huh??? just who the hell do you think I am? I’M Joe the Plumber!!! I’m about as middle class as you can get…..that argument about firefighters and police and trash collection being socialist wealth distribution are just inane. They are services provided by local, county, state, and national government…..paid for by EVERYONE, not just the wealthy…not just plumbers making $250,000 a year but EVERYONE…..none of this to each according to his needs from each according to his abilities crap…..
well, if you’re smart you’d have fire insurance anyway…..if it was an
obligationmandate from the government that you MUST have fire insurance, then I’d have an issue with it.heh….I love how you leftists have replaced mandate/directive/regulation with the oh so gentle word “obligation”……so tell me muzzy, is that a global directive….er….obligation that you leftists all soften the language prior to the coronation of “that one”???
there sure as hell is a difference man, how much more of my “vast” wealth is going to be redistributed to pay for things like health insurance for the slackers and laggards of this society who can’t even wipe their asses without a government aid worker? how much am I ( a middle class high school and college instructor) going to have shell out to pay for things like government mandated…er obligatory…..community service and a government mandated….er obligatory…..retirement system where they will tax my 401K plan and my salary???
The demoRats are already talking about that stuff muzzy, and that is socialism in it’s dirtiest form. Support it all you want, call it my obligation all you want. Your country and government are becoming more and more sharia by the day….seems that you have a lot of work ahead pulling your own heads out of your asses before you start dictating…..er obligating…..us to follow your advice.
best of luck to you in that endeavor

muzzbutt,
You need to go back to grade school and learn the difference in government types. Government in a capitalist society is supposed to be limited to those things that private enterprise cannot provide; military, police, fire control. Period. Everyone is taxed to pay for these things and no, I don’t like our current tax structure. It’s not fair to productive society. It should be ended and a flat consumption tax put in place. THAT would tax everyone equally and would produce a hell of a lot more than we generate today. You have more money, you consume more, you pay more taxes.
obambi isn’t talking about just increasing government spending. Oh no. It’s much worse than that. He is talking about increasing taxes on the
richproductive and THEN GIVING THAT MONEY DIRECTLY TO PEOPLE WHO DON’T PAY ANY TAXES IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!!!!He is reaching right into our pockets and then handing OUR money to someone else. And that $250K cap? Yeah, that’ll never move down any. Nooooooooo, because we all KNOW how obambi keeps his promises right? Bueller? Anybody?
In everyday life we would have the opportunity to shoot the thief or at a bare minimum see him brought up on charges and do jail time.

I took the youngest to vote for the first time Friday. She was thrilled.
They changed the voting method here with touch screen system called InsightPlus. In one of their training brochures they state:
Funny thing is, here in Illinois, only Cook county and City-of-Chicago use this system.
Who has these lists of fictional registrants? Oh,…I don’t know, Democratic poll judges willing to make a few bucks, maybe? They just need a laptop and single key card activation device ? Data streams can be hacked and the hacker need only hack the central depository. How convenient. All they need is a little extra after-hour time to fit the list of registered ringers to the numbered activation cards and run a boiler room office with ‘Get out the Vote’ drones happily tapping touchscreens. Or why not a simple bit of scripting in a program to do it all at the speed o’ RAM.

No difference? That being the case, lets eliminate all federal intervention into the affairs best left to states, including abortion and the death penalty. Certainly nothing morally wrong with that. First wipe out the dept of education, a Carter payoff to the teachers unions, second, eliminate tenure, third, end all federal welfare, education and art grants. The states can handle it. Eliminate the IRS. Abolish the federal reserve, give it back to treasury. Let the states handle their own environmental considerations. No affirmative action or preferences given to anyone, at any time, for any reason. Government to be confined to the courts, international affairs and national defense. Kick the UN out, no association with that group of maggots whatsoever. This would be a ethical solution to many problems.

This is par for the course for the socialist, illuminati left-wings. If we quote their words and use them against these idiots, we’re uninformed.
