“Maverick” My Aching Arse
Posted by: Emperor Misha I in Politics, RINOs, Spineless Fucks6:47 PM
As we’re sure you’re aware, disgruntled McCain staffers have been leaking various smears about Governor Palin, one more incredibly incredulous than the other, over the last couple of days.
What kinds of smears? Well, there’s the “she doesn’t know Africa is a continent“, for one. Or how about her scandalous “uncommon” behavior when she, running a bit late, got out of the shower in a bathrobe and let her staffers into the hotel suite rather than leaving them in the hallway.
Why, why… The shameless HUSSY!
It’d be funny if it wasn’t so pathetic.
But where is the “Maverick” in all of this? Nowhere to be found. His staffers are spreading lies about his VP pick like crazy, but the “brave” Maverick can’t find it in himself to tell his own employees to shut up already and quit character assassinating his own pick. As a matter of fact, the only person in the McCain camp who stood up for her, one Randy Scheunemann, was first reported to have been fired for “disloyalty” and then, later on, claimed that he hadn’t been. Who knows?
All we know is that our Imperial Mother told us to stand up for ladies when they are attacked, but obviously that’s not something that appears in the McCain family curriculum.
Call us when you find your balls, you clown.
Of course, what’s going on here is obvious: The RNCC clownshoes are gearing up for a repeat in 2012. Once more, they’ll do their damndest to foist some limpdick “moderate conservative” on us so we can get beaten again. Heaven forbid that the only party offering an option different from Socialism should actually run a conservative like, *shudder!*, Reagan. Because we all know what a miserable failure he was, don’t we?
No, let’s have another McBushCain begging for votes he’ll never get while pissing off the only reliable voters the GOP has.
That, and they need a scapegoat for their own blithering, aimless, incompetent three-ring circus of a campaign. So why not go after Governor Palin? That way you get to stomp on yet another conservative while simultaneously avoiding the horror of somebody noticing that the blundering buttskates running the McCain campaign were the ones that led us to this result.
And meanwhile, the “honorable” McCain hides in his room while the lady without whom his loss would have looked like Carter’s is being savaged by his lackeys.
You stay classy, “Maverick.”
And stay the fuck away. Forever.

F*cking dumbass bastard. He manages to get FOUR stinking states to jump in front of the line to get his stinking liberal ass nominated before any of the rest of us have a chance to have a fair vote. THEN he runs a lukewarm “Lets just play nice” campaign that was sure to see him lose (which I think was the plan all along). Then the one person who gave his lousy ass more credibility with the very people he had stabbed in the back for years gets stabbed back after he makes sure Obamination waltzes into the White House. I hope this bastard rots into the background real soon. It’s bad enough we had to hold our noses to vote for him to make sure that not only Sarah had a chance in 2012, but we had to try to keep that Marxist bastard out of the White House, now he’s already trying to sabotage her and stab us in the back again.

This is appalling - the bit about “Palin: If I cost McCain even one vote, I’m sorry”?? SARAH - YOU are the only reason half the people who voted FOR him bothered to show up AT ALL - don’t you know that??? Please, do not be sorry; he should be kissing YOUR ass, not the other way around. People were falling ASLEEP at his rallies in droves (the few who attended) until he announced you.
Oh my God; I’m disgusted by this. Holy hell. Fox can kiss my fat ass and McCain indeed better stay the hell away FOREVER this time. He’s done enough damage in the last 30 years. You don’t relentlessly attack a party for 30 years and then say “Elect me, party!”

You bet I won’t be voting for Whatsisface for Senator. Looks like the RNC is trying to torpedo any chance of Gov Palin running for a national office. Perhaps those in power in the RNC are scared after seeing how popular a real conservative is with the people.
I agree
I just don’t think they realized how Gov Palin would energize the people with hope for a conservative future. I was one of those that voted because of Gov Palin otherwise I would have stayed home.

She has nothing -NOTHING to be sorry for. I want her back in 2012 too; and while I’d be just as happy to see any Reaganesque leader emerge; it might just as well be her.

I never understood how people could call McCain honorable. He is the very antithesis of the word. If a policeman sees a burglary taking place right in front of him, does he just stand there or does he do something about it? After all, his job is take action.
McCain was “hired” during the nominating process, to do a job. He decided to be derelict in his duty as our nominee when there were others who were more qualified and more than willing to step up and take action had they been nominated.
McCain is, as many of us here have said several times, a loathsome, pathetic individual. I hope some principled conservative runs against him in AZ and sends him to the old folks home for loser RINOs.
He may have once fought for his country but that was a LOONG time ago. I consider McCain to be akin to John Murtha and that may be an insult to Murtha. Both were once American fighting men. Now both are traitors to the cause.
Still, that does not stop me from praying for both of their souls.

He was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He is the son of immigrant parents from Punjab India. He was raised Hindu but converted to Catholicism in High School. He is married to Supriya another child of Indian Immigrants. They have three children (the youngest that Bobby delivered himself when Supriya went into labor early).
Bobby’s real name is Piyush. He picked up the name Bobby from the Brady Bunch as a child and insisted on being called that. He is one hell of a smart man. Rock solid Conservative. He recently won the Governorship of Louisiana (one of the most Liberal strongholds) with one of the highest election wins without a runoff in Louisiana in several decades and is the first non-white Governor of Louisiana since the Reconstruction. He’s the youngest sitting Governor in the United States. He’s managed to pass within two months of taking office one of the most transparent and strictest Ethics bill in the nation. I voted for him, and have every intention of voting for him if he runs for President (or gets picked for VP next go around)

It isn’t lost on the RNC that the country as a whole is shifting back towards the Left, after an almost three-decade shift towards the Right. They have lost two cycles in a row, and they are on track to lose more if they don’t adapt quickly.
Where does that leave a lot of people here?
The Constitutional Party. I don’t see it becoming all that big, but at least it fits your point of view better than what the RNC will most likely become.
Palin will end up like Bob Miller.

I’m thoroughly convinced that it is officially time for conservatives to abandon the Republican party. Let the milquetoast “centrists” have it!
The RNC is at or below ground zero now, anyway. Why should we invest effort, time and money in rebuilding it - especially when we would constantly be subjected to infighting and sabotage from the RINOs?!?! Fuck ‘em! Conservatives need to claim our own ground, and not give an inch to anyone who isn’t solidly and boldly conservative.
I’m not completely aware of what efforts are already underway … but we need to stay away from nutjobs like Buchanan and Barr, too.
So … what shall we call the party that will nominate Sarah Palin when she wins the White House in ‘12??? The Federalist Party? Conservative American Party? Constitutionalist Party?

Deej, (can i call you deej? im new, and young, so i dont want to be disrespectful)

A party that doesnt have its head shoved up its ass. the RNC is just too old. It’s gone bad, its gotten polluted. we need to change the filters. :em72:

Gee I wonder what the connection could be between a known corruption fighter and a sabotage attempt on her future chances?????
It may be painful but this is when it would be the best time for any secrets to be leaked about the repubs. The press could actualy legitimately target the corrupt with the help of non-RINOS such as gather here. Fuck em, the party has corruption it weakens everyone.
Does anyone here know personaly of corrupt or unethical behaviour by RINOS? Should it be a priority to hold your nose and tell the press so they can be forced out??

Jindal is not unlike Sarah Palin 3 months ago. In fact, he was the “other” young, non-traditional, conservative candidate McCain could have picked. He didn’t because he was only elected governor a year ago giving him even less experience than Palin, or maybe another reason (or non-reason, who knows what goes through McCain’s head).
Unfortunately, that means we can’t help you out too much. Like Palin a few months ago - and Obama right now - only basic things are known about him. He hasn’t had the MSM digging through his garbage.

DJ, I see where you (and an awful lot of Republicans in all four corners of the party) are going with this, but A Funny Thing will most likely happen to any attempt to wildly recast the Republican party. You know, the proverbial Funny Thing, the one that takes place at the ballot box.
It doesn’t really matter what the various thumb-suckers decide in the two year off-period. Candidates cater to voters, not the other way around. Even more so in the presidential race. Look at what McCain did earlier this year. He was literally bankrupt until New Hampshire. Look at what happened to Obama after Iowa. The political money follows success. EDIT: I realize that sounds like a contradiction from candidates catering to voters. What I mean is voters pick the candidate they want and the money follows that (those) guy (guys) (gals), not the agenda dictated from the top, as the 18 million +1% Obama primary voters can attest to
As for Congress, the way to get elected has not changed: be (or claim to be) what voters want but your opponent isn’t.

3. Until they can get their heads out of whatever orifice it is currently lodged in, and support the conservative principles this party was based on, and quit screwing over their core voting base by foisting off half-assed “Democrat-Lite” candidates, they need not ask for, not expect one red cent, one second of time, or one drop of sweat from me on their behalf.
4. That whoever selected McCain’s staff should be horse-whipped, tarred-and-feathered and ridden out of town on a rail. Then fired, preferably from a 16″ naval gun, because the staff he had couldn’t be trusted to run a one-hole outhouse.
5. That Sarah Palin was this one bright spot, (and only bright PERSON) on either ticket, and if the RNC tried to blame this mess on her, they are even stupider than I had previously imagined.
Thanks, I feel better!

Seriously: Thanks. That means a lot to me, even though I’m not sure I’m quite deserving of it and, besides, now I have to ditch my old Stetson and buy a new, bigger one
Let me say this in return, and that is part of why I appreciate it so much: I always find it extremely encouraging when we have fine, young, smart people like yourself join. It gives me hope.
Because, let’s face it, if us old grumpy bitter-clingers are the last there are, then we’re all fucked. We need you youngsters one heck of a lot more than you need us. You’re the ones we’ll need when it comes time for the torch to be passed, and if there aren’t any of you around then…
You’re the ones who’ll be charged with shaping this great nation of ours in years to come and with cleaning up the mess we old farts have made of things, for which I apologize. We did our best, but the dregs of ‘68 just kept getting in the way, puking and shitting all over the place faster than we could shovel. That, and we were a bit slow on the uptake when it came to stomp them out. Easy-going and laid-back by nature as we are, we let the damn rats fornicate and spread until the whole house was coming down around our ears when a good, healthy dose of poison would have solved the problem if we’d applied it in the beginning.
We’ll help to the best of our abilities with scraping the shit off the walls and floorboards and carrying the carcasses out to the dumpster, but we’re going to need your help.
So thank you from the bottom of my heart for stepping up and re-affirming my belief in the next generations. You’re sorely needed, and it’s one heck of a responsibility to unload on you, but I believe you’re up to it.
Let’s clean up this country!

I’ve literally come out from the desert. Power plant shut down all week, and what a fun week it’s been. The desert sucks, I hope those republican bastards enjoy wandering around in it for the next few years. Least I got to come back. The tards on the a.m. radio stations are all parroting,”what do republicans need to do…”. They need to die. Every last rotten one of them. The party of Lincoln has actually won in a weird way, a black man is President. That would not have happened if the old republicans hadn’t fought for civil rights for the past 150 years. Oh, and DJ, before you try to correct me, Eisenhower did more for civil rights than Kennedy ever did. On the other hand, America’s Constitutional government died on the night of November 4th. I don’t think Lincoln had that in mind. We broke a race barrier, and adopted Marxism all at the same time. Woohoo! I laughed when I heard Russia was making moves against Poland in under 24 hours from Obama’s announcement. I cheered when I heard Isreal tell us to go to Hell because they can’t trust us. I scratched my head when France said they loved us again. After all, we bail their ass out of three wars and they hate us, so to love us we need to do????? I haven’t figured out that part, but it can’t be good. For the record, I’m not Jewish, but I will be cutting large checks to the IDF, and may they wipe every last enemy vermin they face off the planet. At least they have balls, unlike McDouche.
May the Republican party end like the Whigs. Perhaps the next party to arise from the ashes will be called the Constitutional Conservative Party, and the symbol could be a Vulture eating donkeys and elephants. Would put a shiver down any leftists spine in my opinion anyways.
I am a conservative, I have no party affiliation. Anyone I meet who, when asked, claims to be a republican, and not a conservative can go drink Drano for all I care. Not interested in people who wish to become serfs. November 4th was the equivalent of the nation playing Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader? and losing miserably. The Nation obviously is not.
Now, at least for me, the fun begins. I’ve been in a great mood for days, because unlike the masses, I studied history. I know what’s coming (and knowing is half the battle, haha) and am having a ball watching it unfold. Stock market tanking, news media just now asking who Obama is, Obama volunteers wondering where their paychecks are, watching the ACORN seizures and raids being forgotten…oh my, the list of what Mussolini and later Hitler did when achieving power, damn near motion for motion, word for word. I’ve got a black and brown shirt waiting, I’m covered.
Sorry for the rambling, I’ve been out in the desert sun for far too long. May tomorrow bring you another Glorious People’s Day Comrades.

@ LC teenconservative - Yeah, you make a LOT of sense, you ask good questions, and you’ve got an excellent sense of courtesy and respect; keep it up, and you’ll go far, here. I bet some (MANY!) of the long-standing denizens will be delighted to take you under their arm and show you the various methods for a proper and righteous clue-batting.
Me, I’m more of the genteel-type, but when I get riled, I do love seeing how well I can craft a Shakespearean insult whilst calling down the wrath of G-d Himself upon craven malefactors. * :em02: * :em58:
BTW, another note about the Rott: references to our L-rd G-d are rarely-to-pretty-much-never spelled out in full. Misha, from what I understand and from what little I’m honored to know about him (he’s a great guy; lovely accent, too!), holds the Name in too much respect to ever even get near dishonoring it. Just a little point of courtesy, since you may have already wondered about the missing letters that occasionally pop up.

As to the explanation of my spelling “quirk”, I absolutely must add that I in no way require or even expect anybody to do the same. It is a choice I’ve made and whether anybody around here makes the same choice is up to them. I neither hold it for or against them. Indeed, that goes for all matters of faith. It is a personal question, and as long as mutual respect is shown, I wouldn’t want it any other way.

He was in fact better than the “shitstain” he ran against last time and I voted for him for President (well, more for Palin than him but any thing beats teh One) our one gain might be that the One might pick our Dear Governor for a Cabinet Post.
Palin 2012 is the one bright light on the horizion but, the RINO’s have to be beaten down for it to work.

Since we’re full of disclosures tonight, I discovered the Empire back around the start of the Iraq War, and I always thought the spelling of G-d was a sarcastic jibe at a certain liberal media/cultural movement’s aversion to even mentioning, much less condoning worship of, God in any way.
Then I undertook the most hideously antitheistic faith-debasing enterprise in the history of man, better known as a university-required course, where I “learned” a great many things, of which the only enlightening or useful fact was the custom in many faiths to refrain from spelling out God’s name. Which sort of makes sense, because it isn’t really “God” except in English.

November 6th, 2008 at 11:53 PMAs to G-d, I first became aware of that way of writing it in ‘82, when I had a Jewish English teacher, and she did the same. I do like the idea, and do it myself sometimes. Because she explained it, I always saw it as respect towards God.

I hope Palin doesn’t take over Steven’s seat as senator. The temptation is there for her to gain more “experience” in Washington, but the best thing for her to do is to stay away from that cesspool and concentrate on her reform governance in Alaska. While she’s there she should surround herself with economic and foreign policy experts as well as media savvy types. Let her season for 2 years or so and she’ll be a deadly candidate.
In my mind Jindal is also very promising. He’s another reform governor (with legislative experience) and is a very accomplished orator.
