Of course, here the driver of the car would immediately loose his license and be suspended from the force while awaiting his persecution internal affairs review, to be followed by his trial and eventual incarceration. Of course, the hostage taker, having successfully sued the police department for a violation of his civil rights, as well as pain and suffering, would be given total immunity to get his cooperation in the trial of that obvious right wing bastard, the policeman. When it came to light that the hostage taker was an illegal alien, he, his unmarried girlfriend, and their 17 chitlins would all be given an immediate green card, and since he would now be disabled and unable to work in his chosen profession (predator criminal preying on the American idiot), he would also be given Social Security Disability, as well as food stamps, Medicare, and public housing. While he was enjoying the freedom and money that he gained, the policeman would be found guilty, and sent to prison, probably one that contained many criminals that he had, over the years, put therein. During his stay there he would be quickly shanked, causing massive pain and suffering if not death. If he ever managed to get on the other side of the gates of the prison, he would find himself unemployable, without a pension, and with his wife and family having left him during his unlawful political imprisonment incarceration.
