Was watching TV yesterday and saw some of the GM loan (see bailout) thing. I quickly discovered why GM products aren’t the quality they should be and a bit more affordable. Who the f*&% thought it was a good idea to pay the CEO $16 MILLION/year? I can guarantee you that he did ABSOLUTELY nothing last year to earn that kind of scratch!

When gas hit $4.00 a gallon the first thing they did was to close down all the SUV and truck plants….putting all those people out of work. Then they concentrated on making the POS little death traps they call “fuel efficient” and no one bought them. Now, with gas under $2.00, and people wanting SUV’s and trucks…..

I was refreshing my Rott readings after a couple days incommunicado. I refer you back to the “Your Rights” discussion of Dec. 24. At the bottom is an entry by LC cmblake6 that basically asks when are we going to take action. I think that concerned citizens are already “doing” what needs to be done. Stocking up on guns, ammo, defensive weapons, training at the range, stockpiling clothes and food, building networks etc.
December 26th, 2008 at 9:46 PMI doubt that this will be an offensive action on our part, but rather a defensive response that will absorb an initial assault then go over to the offense. I believe that the left is in the process of self-destruction at the height of their power and the “party” will start within the bastions of liberalism with riots and general anarchy. What we will need to do is be ready to absorb the shock then start fighting back to the center of the rot. This government must be set right or replaced by a constitutional replica based on principles this country was founded upon. The fight will come to us. just be ready when it gets here.

Wow sub zero weather earlier this week and tomorrow’s forecast calls for a *high* in the mid 50’s. With thunderstorms….in northern Illinois…in (very)late Dec!! He’s already told us with his statement of offering Israel protection under our Nuclear Umbrella should Iran hit them with a nuke or three.
What this says to me is that he plans on doing nil point shit to stop Iran’s nuclear ambitions or to prevent them from hitting Israel in the first place. While M.A.D. worked against the commies, I don’t think Negrodamus has the balls to back up his words with actions and I think the rest of the world, especially Iran, is acutely aware of this as well.
So, if Teh JOOOS are gonna do something about the situation, I’d say they better get off their asses and do it. They’ve got about three weeks of possible back-up left. If Bush wouldn’t deal with a non-nuke Iran, what makes you think Jugears has the sack to deal with a nuclear one??

It may soon reach the point where one has to exercise prudence in whom they choose to express their opinions. Again, a form of suppressing overt criticism. I expect the brainwashed young to be used in such a fashion, dutiful snitches, utterly deluded into believing it is a righteous act to finger those opposing the The Chosen One. Truly a nightmare scenario, aided and abetted by publik edukashun….such actions to be encouraged and justified under the mantra of alleged racial deprivation and such. We have seen some already, such as teachers, or a doctor, asking a kid if his parents own guns. My daughter was. Only at home can this be fought, yet a child may be led to believe you are hiding something, be it through shame or any other immoral activity in their eyes. As one lefty said to me…..”You could OD on your meds and go on a gun rampage.” As he stepped out of his big truck reeking of dope, or the beer cans on the seat. It completely escaped him. Next time I may mention it. As I have said to one expressing ….”It’s for your own good…” Pissed, I cut him off, “For YOUR own good, do not ever seek to impose your views on me..you may not survive. I guarantee you, one of us won’t!” We no longer discuss certain issues.

Yet I know who they would turn to, and much to my delight, many have now quietly become firearms owners, having pointed out to them my guns are for defensive purposes. I do not elaborate. I’ve already converted three that I know of.
So I choose to observe, and in so many quiet ways, act on my beliefs. What angers me to fury more than anything else is the mind rot taught to our children, and one day the perpetrators of such actions may pay very dearly. I would show them no mercy whatsoever……..

True, Hephaestus, very true. I seek patience. Many people here simply cannot think outside of the box, the existence of a hostile paradigm utterly alien to them. I would be concerned with survival, not simply my job or bills. The latter could cease to exist, depending on circumstances. The underbelly of society would make an appearance, gangs and such. Just now I was out pruning one of my trees, noting the kindling I will save, and brother, it will be a lot of kindling. But last night my wife was cold, so I started a small fire and turned on the fireplace blower, warms the living room quite nicely. Kinda’ cozy watching the tube. I think you are correct, though, when faced with a brutal choice, most folks will stand, for their kids of nothing else, the rest will die. That’s when I think of the Pied Piper………..like I say, I’m an ant.

Medications for my other sister who is schizophrenic, without them, she is dead. Say little things, like insulin for diabetics. I think about this shit a lot. Again, the ant.
My home is quite well stocked, nice thing about small towns…….especially conservative small towns…..
Just the other day, talking with my best buddy of forty years, told him I sought to avoid conflict at many a cost. He looked at me, we have shared our scrapes together, saying, “Yes, a coward by choice but a hero by nature. In a pinch, nature wins. I know you too well.” Made my day actually.

If you like kindling .. I have a free fire starter idea if you havent already heard of it… DRYER LINT. I collect it in a one gallon plastic ziploc bag. Just a little bit burns hot fairly even, ignites very quickly and works extremely well.
As far as the failures that refuse to prepare and practice self defense thinking.. the easier to kill when necessary. Under a bad enough scenario, they will join the other darwin failures very quickly, I will not have time to deal nonsensical parasites impacting my “quality of life”.
I dont “discuss” this with others…. there is NO “discussion” there is logic and the lack thereof. Once I have determined that a party belongs in the lack of logc category…. they automatically become expendable.. unless they have a redeeming specialty sklll.

Dryer lint…so very true, Troy. I have some stashed in a five gallon pail. When I had my house reroofed six years ago I saved a lot of the wooden shakes, the house reroofed with composition shingles to avoid a fire hazard. They burn extremely well. I harvest from my two big trees here, a slow gain every year.
