They go up a little easier if you get help. That ridge pole can be tough when you try it by yourself. The leaks are a constant supply of drinking, cooking, and washing water. Besides, they only leak around the flue pipe when there is three feet of snow on them.

I know some here don’t believe in God, but I do, and it never ceases to amuse me when man’s hubris kicks in, and he starts to play God.

There seems to be a lot of attention and hype around a 1-year drop in temperature. IF you were to assume that Global Warming were true; one year’s temperature drop is meaningless.
What is not meaningless is that the first roughly 100 years of temperature data are total garbage. In 1860, for instance, the IPCC claims to have calculated a “Global” Average” temperature based on thermometer readings from less than 16% of the planet’s surface. This is not possible.
In short, the first 100 years of temperature data — upon which the entire Global Warming Theory is based — is utter crap.
There has not been any warming! Never was any warming! There has NEVER BEEN any credible evidence that the Earth has warmed over the past 150 years!
In order to even suggest a Global Warming Theory, the FIRST, and most important, thing that one MUST have is credible evidence of increasing temperatures. This does not exist and never has.
The data is on the IPCC website in the HadCRUT database for anyone to see.
Thus, I’m baffled at any concern over whether or not Global Warming is or is not man-made. There has been NO warming.
I’m baffled by concerns about how Global Warming is affected by one-year’s temperature data. There has been NO warming.
I’m baffled by concerns about whether the hottest year was 1997 or 1938. There has been NO warming.
I’m baffled by concerns about whether temperatures have declined since 1997. There has been NO warming.
I’m baffled by concerns about whether ice-caps are growing or shrinking. There has been NO warming.
I’m baffled by concerns about who and what generates more greenhouse gas - oil or cattle; the U.S. or China. There has been NO warming.
There are no issues in the Global Warming debate which are of any interest or value; except ONE — there is not now, nor has there EVER BEEN (since 1860) ANY CREDIBLE EVIDENCE OF ANY WARMING. They never had it. They can’t now get it. It’s been a lie since DAY ONE. Without statistically reliable evidence of increasing Global Average temperatures — which IPCC does not now, nor have they ever posessed — the entire Global Warming Theory MUST be entirely discounted. Reliable temperatures over a long enough time series are the sine qua non that Global Warming cannot exist without.
It is not there. It has never been there.

What really struck me in the article:
IOW, the actual, for real, global temperature decrease is now GREATER than the gorebecilic droolers, have glommed onto for warming temperatures for the last 100 years over a span of only 16 months. They’re bass-ackwards by a factor of 160%.
